Nice Stay
Check in was easy using digital key. Our room is out dated. I would say late 1990s vibes. Our room was very spacious, very clean and the bed was very comfortable. I slept so good in that bed. We had excellent views from our room 2043. We enjoyed our balcony with stunning views of Sedona’s red rock. We did not eat here at the resort because everything is overly priced. I highly recommend checking out the restaurants that are 5-10 minute drive away. Downtown Sedona was only a 15 min drive from the resort.

Some disappointments, very expensive.
Long road trip from East coast to West during mid December 2024, and stopping here just to make sure we used the resort credit on the Aspire. Spent about 80k pts/nite for two nites. Oooh. A resort! And yet, no valet or bellman to help. Off to an inauspicious start. TL;DR: Very very unimpressive. Our king suite (Mountain View) smelled of pot, had muddy footprints in the bathroom, and no sheets on the bed. Trek back down to the desk and got another room, same kind but now ready for habitation. I have a PHEV so asked if they have plugs somewhere. The nice person at desk says no. Actually, there was one in a corner of the lot, fortunately not blocked by other cars. Access to the gym/spa stops at 8p, but they start locking things up at 730p. You have to sign in to even look around, but no one asked me for a room key and I didn't enter my room number on the sign in page. The men/women dressing facilities and hot tub/sauna are separate, which is nice. Huge and well appointed exercise room! Feeling peckish so the two of us went in for dinner. Her salad was a small head of lettuce on a piece of puff pastry: $22. I got mashed sweet potatoes with crispy pork belly, which was good except the dolloped on top an ice cold serving of apple/onion chutney. The temp difference was jarring and unpleasant. Mix them together and you've got a lukewarm dinner. She had two glasses of wine ($22 each for a nine ounce pour that was absolutely not nine ounces) and my Old Fashioned was watery and "sorry we don't have cherries" ($22). Total bill, including tip, about $175 dollars. Outrageous. We'll likely use of the rest of the $200 credit just with one of our two breakfasts. And we have absolutely no intention of eating here for lunch and dinner again. We had just left the beautiful Hyatt in Albuquerque where dinner was much better done and total cost much more reasonable for the two of us. We really wish we had spent more time there instead. ADDENDUM- When I went to check the folio before checkout, Melody at the front desk acknowledged that our room should've been ready at arrival and arranged for many Hilton points to be added to our account. This is very much appreciated, and she deserves a shoutout as being the only staff member who took it upon themselves to think about how to deliver great service. Thanks, Melody!

Housekeeping never came. No towels, overflowing trash
Housekeeping never visited our room during our 5 day stay. I asked for our room to be cleaned each day and had to track down towels for my family. Each day I was told someone would come, but no one ever did. The service was very disappointing. The hotel itself is conveniently located and upon entry it's clean. I would book a private apartment or house next time due to the lack of service. After all , I typically book a hotel to feel a little pampered on vacation and have clean sheets and towels. Unfortunately this hotel was a disappointment.

Yoga Retreat
The resort was part of a yoga retreat I attended for my 40th birthday, but I made reservations to come in a day early as to spend my actual birthday there, and stay a day after the retreat. They did have a sweet birthday card and treat in my room when I first arrived! The room was amazing, so much space! I loved having the mini fridge, bar sink, and microwave- that made my longer stay so much nicer! The resort grounds were partly under construction, but otherwise it was really nice! The lobby's fragrance was a bit overwhelming, but such a beautiful space with so many seating options while we waited for our group to gather. The holiday decorations were just starting to go up, and we LOVED the igloos outside for dining, such a fun experience! We walked around, but didn't get to actually enjoy the pools or saunas, but they looked awesome, we just ran out of time! The dining options were VERY overpriced in my opinion, but the food was still pretty good. I opted for their starbucks coffee bar latte each morning, which was a nice treat and about the same price as actual starbucks, maybe even a little less. We usually had a group of 6-8 for breakfast and the staff was super accommodating, even with several of us being gluten free. I was super disappointed in my first night room service tomato beet salad - so so overpriced and not good at all. I was so tired from the day's travel and it just wasn't good at all. We mainly ate breakfast and lunch at Shadowrock since it was included with our retreat fee, but otherwise many of us would've opted for other more affordable options. It was two of our birthdays and they did bring us a super cute birthday dessert at lunch one day. I loved the location, being able to walk right down to a few shops and restaurants was awesome! I even walked a bit farther into town to the grocery store and other restaurants and shops, easy and safe! Overall, a great experience - staff were all friendly, everything was clean, and if I attend another yoga retreat with the same group, I would look forward to staying here again. At times, they seemed under-staffed, but that's pretty normal for everywhere in this day and age!

Bad
I deeply regret spending my free night reward at this property. The price of the room that we booked would have been almost $500. We have stayed at 5-6 hilton properties the last 2 weeks and this was by far the most expensive and the worst. Cons -The rooms and hallways look about the same as an old motel from the 90s -Fireplace was not working when we arrived -Pack and play was not in the room as requested and we had to remind the team several times to have this brought up -Dinner and breakfast were grossly overpriced -Late checkout of "30 min" given for diamond status even though employee the day before said noon checkout. -Fridge was missing a leg and wobbled every time it was opened/closed -Charged $20 for parking Pro -The employees and housekeeping staff were friendly and courteous -Free laundry service
