Hilton Riviera Maya Resort not as advertised
The rooms were great. Cleaned daily. The enclave suites and the 'perks' made no difference. The Vela North buffet was average. Cold food not cold. Hot food never hot. Drinks at bars were not top shelf as advertised. The staff especially Yuri was great. This is the 2nd All-Inclusive Resort we've tried, first from Hilton. I expected more from Hilton. The Best service and dinner restaurant was #NorikuTeppanyaki. We ate there 3 times! A few of the buffets were closed leaving limited lunch and breakfast options. The area was beautiful. Tours were great. Pools very clean.

Best hotel in Tulum
This hotel is absolutely stunning. The service was excellent, the rooms perfect, so many activities I never felt like I had to leave the resort. Very clean and the beach is perfect for swimming. The water was clear and I could see fish swimming all around my feet!

Just a really amazing overall experience!!
From smiling staff to facilities, food, activities, the layout of the property and the room quality - everything was absolutely WOW!! The food was so good, varied, fresh, and plentiful - so many different cuisines too! I'm sure I gained a pound for each day in spite of working out twice during my stay. Please make sure to try the Salsa Macha. Its a huge buffet at Vela Sur or Vela Norte, so you may need to ask for help finding it - normally near the hot sauce array. If you like spicy salsa, this salsa which is made from smoky red peppers is simply mouth-wateringly delicious and not super hot - at least for me. This was definitely a dream vacation come true!!

A very personal experience.
The enclave experience was well worth the upgrade, and our persona concierge Sebastian was out standing. The entire staff was very welcoming and friendly. Our room was in great condition, and housekeeping was always prompt to make sure it was clean.

Good place for an all inclusive family vacation
Comfortable rooms, modern spaces. The food is really good. The morning buffet is great, Edgardo & Yuri served us one day, then Ana another day. I remembered their names because they were very courteous and amicable. There’s a variety of pools, the jacuzzis weren’t working which was a bit of a bummer but no big deal. There’s also no way to walk the hotel but to go through the room hallways, I think it would be a good thing to build a wooden walkable pathway sometime in the future. It would be a nice addition. The hotel map is not too helpful, it could be redesigned. I’m a map illustrator, I’ve designed maps for Vidanta (Hilton marketing managers if you see this let me know haha). My favorite restaurants were the Italian, and Asian restaurants located in the right, you need to make a reservation using the QR code on your bracelet. Overall a great family experience.
