Not A Beach Resort
This hotel is not a Beach Resort & Spa. The beach is several blocks away. If there is a Spa, it is in the basement as I could not find it. The pool is small. The employees are friendly. Food options limited at main restaurant. Why is there no fish entrees like Mahi or Ono as this is Hawaii? I would say this is a mid range hotel option, not a resort. Spend $100 more a night and be on a resort like Marriott properties such as Moana Surfrider, Sheraton, etc….

Vacation in Honolulu
We stayed here for 7 days. This hotel is wonderful. We got free breakfast with our room choice. The Hotel is clean, the staff was friendly and helpful. We used the concerege for booking tours and events and they were knowledgeable and friendly. Everything was great. I will definitely stay here again.

This is not a beachfront hotel!! This is not Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort.
Do not be fooled. This is not a resort. This is not Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort. This is a terrible hotel on Kuhio Avenue that is using the same name as the beautiful Hilton Hawaiian Village which is situated on Waikiki Beach. This one is three blocks away from the beach. And that pool featured in the photo is a small tiny pool. The only good thing about this hotel is the Mac 24 restaurant - the only restaurant at this hotel.

Not as good as expected
We booked transportation from the airport to this hotel using the Hilton Hotel site, which recommended Sky Tours. However we could not locate their offices in the airport and they failed to answer the telephone number we had. Eventually a person at one of the Airport Visitor desks managed to get connected at their second attempt. We were told to go to Area 5 and wait. The bus eventually arrived nearly 30 minutes later. Not a good start when flight numbers and arrival details had been provided. Another passenger with his young family had been waiting even longer. When we arrived at our hotel we reported the disappointing experience to the hotel receptionist. He did not really seem interested despite our reporting that the experience had been recommended by Hilton and did not meet expectations associated with the Hilton brand or reflect well on them. We had been travelling for nearly 24 hours by this time and just craved our beds. We will not use Sky Tours to return to the airport. An Uber costs less and is more dependable. Failing that a Number 20 bus runs from the airport to outside the hotel and costs $3. Having been here a few days we have had issues with the hotel internet cutting out. The Resort charge of $45 a day remains a mystery. An unnecessary charge as we did not see any additional benefits, and just looks greedy. Frankly, any extra charges such as this irritate me and puts me off returning. The pool terrace has some cabanas, which cost $75 for half a day and $150 for all day. There are sunbeds on. the pool terrace but no parasols at all. I have fair skin and such disregard for prevention of skin cancer is not a good sign. We are on a Bed & Breakfast basis. However the breakfast provides a guest with a coupon for a breakfast of $22 or less. This does not allow for selections of cereals, yogurts, fruit, juice, or continental breakfast and I have never had such a limited choice of breakfast in any high end hotel round the world. Pancakes and cooked breakfast is good but a little heavy for my taste. There were other breakfast dishes which cost $1 more, which seems rather petty to exclude them from guests with coupons.

Great location
A friend and I booked a City View room with 2 queen beds for 7 nights. We arrived on a very early flight but were able to leave our bags and were also given access to the amenities whilst waiting for our room to be ready. Whilst a little dated in some areas of the hotel we found our room to be modern and spacious enough for the two of us and housekeeping kept it lovely and clean. We received outstanding service from Michelle at the concierge desk who recommended a Lu'au (which was the highlight of our trip). She really is an asset to your hotel. Pros: Great beds - so comfy Fantastic pool deck area Friendly and helpful staff Only a block from the beach Public transport right outside Cons: Resort fees are a little steep (but also not something we're used to in NZ)
