Feb 13, 2025My new favorite resort!
Excellent Location… just a short walk from Waikiki Beach, restaurants, high end shopping & just about anything else in between! Relax at the rooftop pool and bar, or grab a seat outside of the resort, people watch & catch one many street shows w/ music and dancers. One of my new favorite hotels & will definitely return!

Perfect hotel for a lovely stay in Waikiki!
W could not fault our stay at Hokulani. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The rooms were impeccable. They were very comfortable and had everything we needed. The small kitchenette, and laundry on each floor particularly added value to our stay. The location is perfect: close to the beach and also all the shopping you will need. We also recommend that if you are arriving at odd hours, there is a 24 hour Denny's just down the street! Just a word of warning, if you are driving, be prepared to pay $45 for valet parking, as it is impossible to find street parking nearby.

Birthday Staycation
We stayed to celebrate my wife's birthday. We loved staying here at the Hokulani, the "heavenly star"! Such great customer service from the front desk, bell, valet, housekeeping, and maintenance teams. They work together for the best guest experience. We have known many of the staff for years, and we feel close to them. They are the reason we look forward to our staycations here. Thanks to Zachary, Allen, Trey, Gemie, Brian, Michael, Brandus, Cam, Paul, Yoko, and Satomi, for always welcoming us with genuine Aloha when we stay. We look forward to our next visit!

Great location with 5 star suites
We are HGVC owners. When booking I was concerned about the suite size. 550 sf is basic 1 BR. Turned out very well. The units are so cleverly designed they feel much more spacious! Parking is expensive and UBER is ubiquitous and affordable. We never spent the equivalent of a days parking fee any day of our stay and Ubered 2-4x a day! My recommendation! The ubiquitous ABC convenience stores are insanely expensive; ¾ mile away in the International Mall Target groceries (and adult beverages) are a 50% discount. Pack a reusable grocery bag or 2 - you pay for all in Honolulu. Only negative is elevator issues really were severe during checkout and checkin times - only 1 was working the entire week and other guests reported the prior week only the service elevator was working!
