    Paradise

    I can honestly say nothing negative about my stay at Hotel & Temazcal de Melaque!!! You are only about 3 blocks from the Main Street you Have a super market 3 doors down from the hotel for all your groceries, when you enter the grounds of the Hotel it’s like a oasis!!!! Palm trees,flowers,palapas,Beautiful swimming pool,and much more amenities,clean rooms,great beds,wonderful staff,I highly recommend this gem !!!

    A great experience!

    Great hotel, loved the beautiful gardens. Perfect for relaxing and spending time with family. All the personnel is friendly and ready to help. I definitely recommend if you go with a large group, we stayed at a large suite and it was perfect, clean and the kitchen equipped with all the amenities.

    A great little hidaway.

    We stayed for 2 weeks in February, loved the hotel and the people who own it. For us it was a bit too much of a walk to the beach, we are I our late 70's. The pool and poolside was very nice, clean and most of the time quiet, I like a heated pool but that's just me. We went on a ATV excursion what a fun day that was, and just before we came home a boat trip out of Barra de Navidad to see if we could spot whales. We saw four of them all headed north.

    Loved The Place

    Spend two wonderful days at this hotel last week. It is a great hotel for those who enjoy nature and sports as it is in the center of town but appears to be in the jungle with abundant lush vegetation. It is also great for sportsmen and those with small children. The pool is large and it has games for children near it including a trampoline. There are tennis and basketball courts and a large soccer field. It is within a short walk of the beach and a lot of nice restaurants. I will stay there again in the future

    Quiet and Lovely

    I stayed for a week at this hotel and it was like an oasis. The pool is perfect for swimming and relaxing and is large enough for many people. I stayed in a large suite with two other people and it had one room with two double beds and another with a king sized bed. There were two full bathrooms and a kitchen with all of the amenities. And it had a large living room with an outdoor seating area. The refrigerator is large and there are grocery stores close by if you choose to cook. When my friends left I stayed in a smaller room good for one or two people. It also had full cooking capabilities and everything you would need for a long stay. The gardens are lush and green and full of plants and trees and lots of places to sit in the shade in the gardens or near the pool area. The staff can tell you various places to go and how to get around in the town. The beach is probably a slow five minute walk. There is parking for your vehicle and they also allow dogs. They also have high speed internet. Check out their website and give them a call. My only request is that they return the caged birds to the wild.
