Dec 31, 2017Great place to stay
Had a family vacation and selected this hotel to stay. Found out this is a great place to stay at Granada. Close to town, you can walk to see all attractions. Service is great, felt like being home during our 4 day visit. Hotel personnel made it more enjoyable. Very recommended.

Nov 07, 2017Small rooms a little too far from town
The rooms here are pretty small and don't allow for much furniture other than the bed and wardrobe. Also, all the rooms only have one tiny window way up high so you don't have any views, but they let it in enough light at night to be annoying. While only about half a mile walk from the city center, the hotel staff said it wasn't safe to walk back at night so we had to take a taxi (though we did walk a couple times at 8 pm and it was deserted but didn't feel unsafe). The staff were friendly and helpful, but didn't quite get customer service. They didn't clean our room the first day, and when we asked, they said they only cleaned on request. Breakfast was included but got old fast. Scrambled eggs, beans and rice, fruit, and half a cup of coffee. For variety you could request toast instead of a tortilla. I had to go to the local grocery store to get a can of salsa just for some taste. The pool was cute but tiny. I could take exactly three strokes and be at the other end. Plus they only ran the pump one morning of the five days we were there, which didn't make much sense. The air conditioning worked, which was the only reason I considered giving this place 3 stars. But I was shocked the average review was over 4 stars. For niceragua, these rooms were very basic and the hotel was not conveniently located.

Have stayed many times, highly recommend!
A friend in Managua found Hotel Estacion for me over two years ago, and we've stayed four times since, most recently in September 2017. Rooms are clean and comfortable, common areas are relaxing, good breakfast poolside. Sandra and Juan and wonderful hosts, and are happy to help arrange transportation, tours, whatever you need. Even recommend and help arrange accommodations in other towns! Every time I think "maybe we should try a different hotel this time", I answer myself "why?" That's probably my best endorsement.

Sandra is such a great hostess!
Group of 5 of us stayed here and loved it! Such a beautiful hotel. Great pool and outdoor spaces. Sandra arranged our airport transfer. We love it here! Thanks for all your help Sandra! I can recommend this hotel .

Great place
Great place for a family. Nice old building fully renovated, but all the amenities, great pool, AC. Will visit again, and again. I will be recommending this place to all my friends and family. Thanks to all the staff
