    Relaxing rooms with air conditioning

    Clean and centrally located. Very accommodating and friendly. Can’t recommend enough. The food at the restaurant was really good. They keep the doors closed after a certain time, so I definitely felt safer. Air conditioning was a life saver.

    Lovely hotel

    Fantastic bed staff spotless room. Food at breakfast was great too and the staff there are lovely too as with all the coloumbian people love them and country. Will definitely stay here again in a heartbeat great price to for our 5 night stay wonderful 😊

    Best hotel for your money in Cartagena

    I am a frequent traveler to Cartagena and have stayed at least 80% of the hotels. I have stayed at some of the most expensive down to lower price range. Hotel Barlovento is by far the best hotel for your money and the one I have stayed at more then once. The rooms are just as nice as some of the more expensive hotels. Very clean. Friendly staff. The only thing more expensive hotels have are bigger fancier pools but who visits Cartagena to stay at hotel pool? When it comes to value for your money this is the best hotel in Cartagena. Any other hotel equal will charge 2x-3x the money. They offer free breakfast. Other expensive hotels charge. They have more stations on tv then the more expensive hotels. I enjoy the location as well. Easy to walk to beach, many stores and restaurants. Quick taxi ride to old city. This will always be my first choice of hotel and does not break your pockets to stay.

    An excellent hotel

    The Barlovento is an excellent hotel to stay at. It is close to the beach and there are many places to eat nearby. The rooms are very comfortable and air conditioning was very good. The room rate is very reasonable. Breakfast is now a buffet and the quality of everything is very good .

    Barlovento

    The hotel was very comfortable and the staff was wonderful! We slept well and had a good breakfast each morning. I had a few questions for the front desk and they were very helpful! The location was great and we walked most places! I would stay here again!
