Great hotel and service
This hotel was in the perfect location. We walked to eateries and stores. Upon check-in we were greeted by the most friendly front desk agent. He went and poured me coffee to pep me up. The whole facility was spotless. The rooms were comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. The whole vibe was perfect for relaxation. The candy on the bed was delicious too. Thank you for a great stay.

Noisy and dilapidated
Not impressed ! horrendous deep base music from next door hotel/bar midnight on first night. Some sort of dance practice in the next room for a couple of hours until 8pm. Safe not working. Waited 2 hrs for assistance, still not sorted (because someone went to another hotel to collect it and then it was raining ???) even though you have to sign a disclaimer for hotel responsibility. On day 2 informed that the Safe key is ‘lost’. Filthy fridge, tiny bathroom, limited storage, no room for long clothes, window blind needs to be down constantly for privacy, no hairdryer, mini bar but no cups, glasses or bottle opener. Bathroom window jammed open. Day 3 Booming music from bar opposite started at midday, as did the noise from the adjacent building site. No umbrellas by pool, loads of missing tiles in pool, no cushions on wooden chairs on roof. Clean linen and towels and basic but pleasant a la carte breakfast. Good location if you want the nightlife of Getsemani.

Great location for exploring Getsemani
Great location, nice common areas, room was in poor shape. You can walk to all the fun spots in Getsemani, just steps outside the door. We really enjoyed the food and atmosphere at El Cablido, right around the corner. But our room was dodgy. We never had hot water in 3 nights, it was warm once. The sink was loose and slipped around on the counter. The faucet was loose and had low water pressure. The tissue holder was also loose and bent. The room was quiet for street noise, but you could here construction in the hotel starting around 8AM and other guests were noisy. I'd look for another hotel.

Abzocke - Overpriced
We stayed three nights here in March 2020. We thought we had made a good deal, but the price of the Hotel was much higher than all other Hotels in the Backpacker area. When we arrived they wanted to put us in a room on groud Floor, dark and smelling of mold When we complaint, they told us that the fare we paid entitles us only to this room (like prices for rooms depend on the floor). Then they offered us a better double room (which is what I believe we paid for in the beginning), but only if we paid 80.000 Pesos extra per night. We had literally no choice. So we ended up paying three times as much as others paid. Given the price we paid already, this was not fair... The hotel is ok overall, but the pool area is small and dirty. The best part of this hotel is the very friendly staff. The kitchen ladies were great, made everyday another breakfast and the guys at the reception were very helpful. It is a Management Problem!

Not as advertised
We stayed at this hotel for two nights. Very tiny room, basic amenities. On the description it mentioned they have hairdryer but they don’t have any. Both nights I requested one and they had none. We paid $95 CAD / night. Definitely not worth this. Air conditioner is blowing right in your face while sleeping, very annoying. However the breakfast was pretty good. The pool looks way bigger on the picture. Pool are is very tiny and both days, all chairs were taken.
