Adrenaline
I booked this hotel by mistake because I thought it was close to the airport. But as it turned out, not for the airport where my plane from Europe landed. The hotel is in a pretty awful area. I don't think it would be wise to be outside in the dark, maybe not even in the light. It is not for nothing that the taxi drivers at the airport initially did not want to go there and laughed at my choice of hotel. The room was very simple, but big enough. However, the air-conditioner or similar device, from which some kind of cold came, roared like a volcano during an eruption and it was impossible to sleep at night. On the other hand, when I turned it off, the temperature rose to about 70 degrees Celsius and I almost suffocated. I tried to open the window, but a swarm of mosquitoes flew in and bit me thoroughly. In addition, outside on the street, drug addicts screamed in spasms and street prostitutes cursed. So it was impossible to fall asleep. Of course, no one spoke English in the hotel.

Good price to quality ratio
The hotel has great price to quality ratio. Breakfast was nice, there are several options to choose from, also hours when its offered are favorable. Enough electric outlets, well positioned. Good hotel location (walking distance to Casco Viejo, big bus station (5 de Mayo) closeby that serves many locations, including Albrook and Panama Viejo. Staff, cleanliness OK. Rooftop pool is a good way to refresh! There is a bar also and considering we were in the top floor I have to say that the music on Sat evening didn’t bother us. The only two things that bothered me are one mattress in a queen bed - when my friend moved, I woke up - and thin walls. There were some people talking super loudly in the morning on the hallway so we woke up.

Looks
Looks better in photographs than it actually is and is in a less than salubrious part of the city, yet the rooms are fine yet for the fee charged I would not criticise this property overall except that the pool is not very alluring.

Fabulous!
The hotel is close to many popular tourist destinations, and finding a taxi in the area is so easy. Right around the corner from the hotel is a bakery and store for supplies. And the roof top pool and bar is a great place to relax at the end of the day. The staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is in an older building and the decor is somewhat dated, but it’s clean and comfortable. If you’re looking for high end, this is not the place for you. If you’re looking for a great economical place to stay, look no further! We had fun and really enjoyed our stay

Good value for the low price
After reading many hotel reviews for Panama City, I finally chose this hotel based on its facilities, free breakfast, location and price. As such, we were not disappointed. The room was large and on the 10th floor, close to the rooftop bar and pool: The staff on reception and breakfast were a bit surly, with eye-rolling and sniggering observed. However; the barman on the rooftop was friendly and helpful. The view from the rooftop bar area was great in all directions. The hotel arranged an excellent driver (Robert) to take us places on our first day, including Mirreflores, Causeway, PanAmercia Bridge; Cusco Viejo. We ended up hiring him directly on the second day too and he took us to Soberina National Park. The hotel is located outside of the touristy areas so its possible to witness local life in the city: It is only a short walk to the sea where there's a paved path in both directions -great for exploring. Having said that, people have warned us not to walk aound the area late at night by ourselves and while it didn't feel too seedy, we heeded that advice. The barman was very friendly and helpful and the ceasar salads we ate were fresh and tasty The free breakfast included hot options along with fruit, coffee and juice. Not many negative things to say except the traffic noise was quite loud even on the 10th floor and the toilet didn't flush properly
