    Very comfortable room in a great location

    This family-run hotel is a real treasure, at a great price, located in a very safe and quiet area in Granada. My wife and I stayed here for 6 nights. Our room was basic but very clean and comfortable with a quiet AC system. The common area, including a small swimming pool, was well maintained and very clean. The swimming pool was cleaned daily. The morning breakfast was lovely and catored with a smile. Aldo, his family and staff were wonderful. They went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and address any questions we had. Returning to Granada, we will definitely book into Hotel El Internacional.

    Great value for budget travelers

    Hotel is great value for the money. You get an AC room eirh private bathroom, a flat tv, complementary breakfast, parking and access to the pool for under 40 USD (as Feb16). The place was really quiet at nigth (great for a good rest). Owner was available for questions and was very helpful and nice. Will definitely come back there.

    A nice place for a few nights

    We came to this place after abandoning our previous hotel. It was great change. A young guy was at the front desk who was always helpful (learn some basic Spanish or google translate, to make life easier anywhere in Central). Room was comfortable with good AC. Breakfast lady very nice and we could store stuff in the fridge. The two large supermarkets only 5 min away. Alot of people have mentioned on TA that this area is abit shady however I would not agree. There were people of all ages and gender walking around at night. The walk down to the park is a good way to see how locals live. Remember no hot water but you don't need it as the water isn't cold and quite refreshing after the hot Granada afternoons. Would stay again.

    Great place to stay!

    Great place, clean, AC included, nice little pool, good breakfast (choice between 4 each morning). The owner speaks english and has a lot of knowledge in the area. The price is right and you should really stay there!

    Excellent price/quality ratio.

    Our room at El Internacional was the cheapest available in Granada last week with air conditioning (really necessary due to April's heat), and it was my second stay there given what a good value I felt it was the first time. Everything is spotless and clean, the AC really works well, flatscreen TV's with tons of channels, comfortable mattresses, friendly staff and owner, included breakfast and the fastest wi-fi I've had in Nicaragua. The price includes all taxes so you know exactly what you're paying for from the beginning. I appreciate that. And the pool's nice too, although seemed much cleaner and better-maintained during my second stay. Yes, it's a 10-minute walk from the center of town but it's a safe area to walk through so really not a problem. Absolutely recommended.
