Gorgeous Eco-Hotel Vibe
This place is wonderful. It's in the style of an eco-hotel with a lot of open-air spaces...in the middle of Managua Staying here was definitely the best decision we made during our week-long trip to the city. The room was great: it was spacious, had many storage areas (traveler's dream), and the best part was waking up to the sounds of nature and the light streaming into the room. Our bed had a mosquito net which was appreciated, and the pool felt luxurious after a hot walk in Managua. Anamarcela and her brother Alvaro were wonderful hosts who now feel more like family. Will definitely book again.

Name Change
Hotel La Tora no longer exists. It's undergone a name change and has new management. I wish I could remember the new name. Alas, if you find Hotel La Tora listed anywhere know that it no longer exists.

A warm welcome to Nicaragua
A warm welcome to Nicaragua, my stay at La Tora was incredibly pleasant. Owners Clint and Ana were warm and generous. They went above and beyond to make sure I had a great stay and found everything I needed. I left feeling like I had just reconnected with old friends. They provided airport pickup since I flew into Managua late and had early flights to the Corn Islands. The room and bathroom were clean and the location was quiet and safe. There’s are a couple of restaurants nearby and a coffee shop around the corner. The art and decor make for an inviting space and the pool was very refreshing.

The best hotel in Managua!
I stayed in La Tora hotel for 4 nights and it was a great experience! The owners Anna and Clint are very nice and helpful and treat you like their dearest friend! Clint took me to different places in Nicaragua and he is a great tour guide! I would not stay anywhere else beside this hotel in Managua! Maz

A getaway in busy Managua
We stayed three nights at La Tora Hotel and we really enjoyed our stay. It is ideally located in a quiet street near the center of Managua. The owner of the hotel is a decorator/artist and this is obvious in the beautiful furnished rooms. La Tora has a nice courtyard with a refreshing pool. It feels like a getaway in busy Managua. The owners are very friendly and helpful. They offer pick-ups from the airport which is nice after a long flight. Breakfast is a bit basic, but the peaceful atmosphere is great. In the evening you can eat a tasteful pizza in a cosy restaurant right acros the street.
