Great time at El Cid!
Resort is great but the staff is what makes it memorable. Our butlers Manual Diaz and Are Mendez went above and beyond to meet and exceed all of our requests. They took the time to get to know us and ensure we had a fantastic time. We will definitely be back and pray they are there for us again.

Great Vacation
Amazing service and accommodations. Our butlers, Ricardo and Sebastian, ensured our every need was met. The grounds are beautiful and expertly maintained. Entertainment is readily available for all ages. El Cid Rivera Maya is an amazing place to spend with friends and family.

Great Resort
The resort was great! Food was above average and many good choices for variety. Many good options for buffet also! I thought the Seafood restaurant was our least favorite as the others had more seafood options. My only complaint was the hot tubs would be hot during the day but drained or cold at night when I wanted to use them. Close to Peurto Morelos for shopping. Our kids did the Dolphins at the Marina and loved it just be prepared for cost of pics:(. They did a great job picking up the seaweed each day! The sand bags in the water are a nuisance but understand why they are there. Made it nice for little kid safety on the beach but took away from adults enjoying the ocean.

I cannot recommend El Cid enough- my family of 5 had an incredible time over spring break. There are a variety of restaurants with great food, and with privileges at 2 connected resorts, there are plenty of pools and jacuzzis to choose from. We never had an issue finding a chair or table. My advice is to go Platinum if you can! Ivan and Cali were wonderful at helping keeping us in the loop on events as well as adding so many "extras" that made the trip so much more fun. We can't wait to go back! 🌴🌞

Shaky start at this resort!
When we booked we didn’t get the room that we should have received thru Expedia. We had to pay to supposedly upgrade to the room that we originally booked. We are Expedia gold members and should have received an upgrade if they are available. They had the room available just backed out of their commitment to us. Kinda disappointed so far!
