Amazing butlers

Honestly great place. A few things to mention: Alma and Sebastien are great butlers. They go above and beyond. Volleyball needs love. Net is broken and very dangerous surface. I saw several people get injured. Please add sand. Pickleball is a great addition but courts are a joke. Please add real courts. Food is great and the place is very well maintained.

Excellent

We so enjoyed our time there. Our butlers were Erik, Alejandro, and Samuel. They are the best butlers. The only thing I have to say that I liked the entertainment outside, not in the convention center. I know the fire show needs to be outside for safety. Why did that change? Food was excellent. Will be back next March.

Mid-winter Mexico Magic

We had another fabulous time at the El Cid resorts in Puerto Morelos. This was our first visit during the peak season (February 1-15) and while occupancy was very high, nothing seemed uncomfortably crowded. We were at the resort for Super Bowl Sunday and Valentine's Day. There were fun activities associated with each. We enjoyed the evening shows, but were very disappointed not to see the wonderful mariachi band during the two weeks of our visit. The dinner restaurants never disappoint and we visited all of them, most of them twice. The food was uniformly delectable and the service, as always, was spot on. I am always impressed with housekeeping and groundskeeping at El Cid. The place is immaculate. The Platinum Club concierge staff at Marina, led by Juan Sequeida, is extraordinarily professional and extremely helpful. We visited often to get change for peso notes in larger denominations to make tipping easier. We particularly want to thank Noe at the Marina lobby bar and Carlos at the new na ha rooftop bar at Ventus Ha for outstanding service. These gentlemen are real pros. Perhaps the most remarkable aspect of this visit was the service we received from our butlers, Sebastian Moyao and Ricardo Martinez. They were in contact with us several times each day to make certain that we had everything we could possibly want. Our refrigerator was always well-stocked. Ricardo and Sebastian secured dinner reservations at all of the restaurants and daily hydrotherapy reservations for us. I had ordered some liquor from Walmart to take home and had it shipped to the resort. Ricardo accepted the shipment and delivered the package to our room. We could not have asked for a higher level of service than we received from Sebastian and Ricardo. We hope to see them again on our next trip at the end of April!

Great hospitality.

The hospitality was beyond magnificent. Cali and Ivan are very dependable and responsive butlers. Getting the pillows changed was easy and made a difference in our sleep. The food was wonderful. The kids program is wonderful. They asked to go and did not want to leave at the end of the day.

Love El Cid

Our two butlers, Seb and Ricardo were amazing. The food was fantastic. Our room overlooking the ocean was excellent. Thanks Seb and Rocardo for the great service over our two weeks. I recommend this resort to everyone without hesitation. We have been coming here for 7 years.
