Dec 23, 2017What a Dump!
I felt uneasy when the property looked deserted upon arrival at a time when other hotels were hopping just before Christmas. Upon check in, we were informed that the restaurant was closed for repairs. Hmmm, breakfast was included in our room price. As soon as the door was opened to the room, there was a pervasive mildew door, along with another unidentifiable smell. The fridge was unplugged, not ready for use. Again, a feature we paid for. The whole suite felt damp, water shut off in showers, damp floors due to water leaks, only one questionably clean towel in one bathroom, none in the other. No soap. Dirty sheets. Visible mold on woodwork. Definitely an unhealthy enviornment so we were unable to stay in the room. The property in general is run down. Another room was offered, but the desk clerk informed us it would be similar. We’d prepaid on Booking.com. Booking.com is no longer featuring this hotel. Still awaiting a refund.

Mar 02, 2017Not a bad place for the money
Although this property could use some maintenance, for the money, I can't complain. The front desk staff were very welcoming. We were upgraded to a huge, 1 bedroom unit with kitchen (although little provided to cook with), living/dining area, and bedroom with huge round soaking tub. The view of the city from our terrace was spectacular. Pool and restaurant/bar area were really nice. Nota bene - if you're looking for a place on the beach, this location isn't for you. Most of the hotels in this area are situated on a hill, with a bit of a descent to the water. Check the location on a map before booking.

Worst hotel ever!!!!!!
I rented the villas nothing works no water no a/c and dirty sheets. Woke up in the morning to my room flooded so all my clothes ruined!!!!! Worst ownership ever does not want to listen to the customer!!!

I'd go there again!
I notice many have put "smelly". I don't have good smelling ability so I guess that is why it didn't bother me. My friend was the one who booked the hotel; I just went along. The breakfast was free if you had a wrist band, which the licenciado forgot to give us. But he was very friendly and everything was worked out in the end. I think they don't understand "Great Customer Service" which is normal in Colima. But if you needed something it was provided no problem. I thought everything was clean including the pool and the pool area. I'd say it was a nice experience.

WORST HOTEL EVER!
WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! From the outside it is a very nice looking hotel but dont let looks fool you! Our first night was okay they lied to us about the hotel having 5 beds we complained and they said that the sofas are considered beds.The second night they turned off the water on us we couldn't shower, use the toilet, or wash our hands and we asked to be moved of rooms but they refuse because all of there other rooms where"full" 4 hours later they said we could use another room JUST to shower. The warm water wasn't working so we had to shower with cold water, they where very dis considerate. The ac is very noisey and doors dont lock! I would never come back here again!
