    Very Disappointed!!!

    Coming to Spain was a dream I had for many years. I chose Madrid as my destination to celebrate my birthday and to stay at this hotel (Riu Plaza España). I want to express my disappointment with this hotel, which is overly popular and visited by many people from around the world. I hope this review reaches many people, and they reconsider choosing this hotel during this season! DO NOT COME! It has been an extremely uncomfortable stay. The hotel does not have air conditioning in any room; they keep it turned off all the time, which I consider to be very unhygienic with everyone breathing in this heat! I personally went to complain at the front desk, and it was a waste of time. They did absolutely nothing to help me. "My personal experience at this hotel doesn’t even deserve one star. I am very disappointed."

    Nightmare,,,,,, 10 days without sleep because there is no air conditioning in the rooms.

    Uncomfortable Stay Due to Lack of AC I recently stayed at this hotel and was disappointed to find that the rooms did not have air conditioning. While the weather outside was cool, the room was surprisingly warm and stuffy, which made it very difficult to sleep comfortably. Opening the windows helped a little, but it let in noise from outside, which wasn’t ideal. When I went to the reception, to ask for a fan they don’t have nothing to make our staying more enjoyable and at least be able to sleep, it was a real nightmare, I wasn’t able to sleep in 10 days. It’s surprising that in today’s standards, a hotel at this level wouldn’t provide proper climate control in the rooms. I would recommend they address this issue to improve the guest experience. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t choose to stay here again unless this is resolved. This tone highlights your issue clearly without being overly harsh. It also provides constructive feedback for the hotel to improve.

    Had an amazing experience whilst staying at the plaza espana. Perfect position in the city, amazing service from staff, particularly 1 gentleman who’s name I didn’t get, white male, 6 foot tall, who was directing people on how to use the lift correctly and he was very polite. All round brilliant hospitality!

    Lovel hotel with great facilities and staff. We have stayed here twice now and couldn’t fault the hotel
