Good hotel
The hotel is on a busy road and has a number of shops and restaurants nearby. It is about a 20 minute walk to the seafront and it is very easy to get a taxi or Uber to wherever you want to go. The lobby is large and attractive and check in was good. Our Executive room had a large bed, sofa, desk, great views over the city and the bath and shower were excellent. The best shower and water pressure I think I have ever experienced. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well each night with no exterior noise. Housekeeping was very good. We had a minibar with some complimentary drinks and each evening we were left a chocolate on the bed. The wifi was a problem at first and seemed to indicate that only 4 devices could be connected. Our room was on the 33rd floor and at times going up and down in the lifts was annoying, stopping at many floors and sometimes going back down when we were on the way up. Also after selecting a particular floor in the lift the selected light would go out so you were not sure whether it would go there or not. The staff everywhere were lovely, friendly and helpful. The swimming pool was a good size but did not open until 8am which was too late for a swim before breakfast. Also there was not always towels available resulting in me going back up to my room soaking wet. The breakfast was good with plenty of options but got very busy, with queues forming at certain areas. It would have been nice to have water as an option where the fruit juices were, because getting a glass of water from the staff was not always easy. Our biggest disappointment was the Executive/Business Lounge. It was only open from 9am until 5pm with a very small selection of food and drink which petered out by the end of the day.. The opening hours made it difficult to enjoy a beer or wine as we were either out all day or it meant having a drink around 4pm which was too early. It was also not open on Sunday. I have used these lounges in hotels all over the world and they are always open in the evening, with a much larger selection of food and drink. Sometimes the alcohol is only available at certain times but at least you could enjoy a drink in the evening. A coffee machine with different types of coffee, such as latte or cappuccino, would have been preferable to the machine that was in the lounge. Ultimately we had an enjoyable stay but certain aspects could do with a review.

One of the nicest hotels Ive ever stayed at. Room was spacious, very clean and a great view. Buffet breakfast was the best I have ever seen.

Perfect weekend city break
5 stars for exceptional service, comfortable bed, lovely pool, good location, excellent breakfast. 4 stars as it could do with a little revamp. The room/bathroom were a bit outdated. Impressed by the service of the hotel staff, and how smoothly everything went. Easy access by Uber to everywhere we wanted to go. Felt safe to walk in the area around the hotel for a few blocks when we ate at a restaurant close by. The breakfasts were outstanding. A vast display of everything you could possibly want for breakfast or brunch, all freshly prepared and absolutely delicious. Perfect for a city weekend break, and would recommend to anyone stopping in Panama City for a few nights. Nice extra touch: we didn't mention it was my husband's birthday but they picked it up on the passport info at check-in and we were surprised by a lovely fruit plate and birthday cake in our room. Small details like that are always appreciated. Thank you.

VERY CENTRAL LOCATION
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel. All the staff were very helpful. The rooms need some renovation as these are getting old. The air-conditioning didn't work properly and was noisy. The smell in the room was not pleasant. Had to change the room.
