  Money grabbers

  Nobody book this hotel! They are so unhelpful. I accidentally booked the wrong dates and arrived at the hotel. I was told to pay again at the property and advised by booking.com to cancel the stay and they will send an email requesting a refund for the other dates which were a week away. The hotel declined this. I feel it’s completely unfair and money grabbing. No help with this situation just taking our money

  Just a lovely stay

  It’s wonderful to find a city centre hotel that’s so friendly. Every member of staff is welcoming and helpful. The room was well-appointed and spotlessly clean. Breakfasts were a real Irish treat and we had a very pleasant meal in the restaurant on one evening. In the evening the main bar had a relaxed atmosphere and table service adds to the feeling of luxury.

  Fabulous hotel

  We stayed here for one night while in Dublin for a show. We could not find a single fault, the lovely young lady who checked us in was so welcoming and friendly, there was an issue with us not having the card we booked with and this lady sorted this so efficiently, then she gave us a room upgrade. Our room was just fabulous with everything you could need. The bed, pillows and duvet were the comfiest, so much so we want to know where we can purchase them. Every member if staff we encounter were at the top of their profession and all had a friendly greeting. We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough and we can't wait to stay again.

  Hotel Riu Plaza Dublin.

  Spent two nights in the Gresham Hotel (bed and breakfast). Our stay was excellent. The breakfast was the best we have had at a hotel at this price point in years. Add to that great value. All the staff we encountered during our stay, were without exception, attentive, mannerly and professional. The service with a smile vibe was always on display. Take a bow Hotel Riu Plaza The Gresham Dublin.

  Great place to stay

  We stayed here for two nights and the lobby is beautiful, the check-in was easy and they let us go to our room early which was really appreciated. The room was bigger than I expected and nicely done. There's a huge shower too! There's a kettle and fridge in the room which is handy, a coffee machine would have been amazing but there's good coffee served with breakfast so it wasn't a problem. We did have trouble on our first day getting into the breakfast room. The man we spoke to couldn't find out details when we gave him our room number and rather than get to the bottom of the problem, he said he'd let us in "just this once" and we felt a bit told off. I'm not sure where the problem came from as we checked with reception and they had all our correct details. The following day was much easier. The staff there were really kind and helpful, everyone greeted you nicely and when we are at their onsite restaurants, Toddy's, Alison was amazing! She was so charming and nice and gave great service. Good was good too with big portions. When we come back to Dublin, we'd love to stay again.
