The good, the bad and the ugly.
The Good - The pool and the price. At about 1000 pesos or 50/60 bucks a night, this hotel is priced fairly. The Bad - You only get 1 key card without an extra deposit, no matter how many people are in your room. There is karaoke music til 10pm at night around the pool so if you have kids, be forewarned, it's noisy. Also, some sites say this property has designer toiletries in the bathroom. It's not true. There are unbranded pump bottles of some substance you can't see. Was it soap? Shampoo? Conditioner? Who knows. The Ugly - we had broken AC units in multiple rooms for my group. Some did not work and two flooded the rooms. Two of our rooms had mold stains on various walls. Bottom line? This is an older hotel. Fine. But you can't rent rooms with mold on the walls and broken, leaky air conditioners. I rented a block of room for two nights, so the hotel made good money on us. We still had to pay the extra deposit for additional room keys. After paying our bill in full weeks before we arrived, we had to wait days for our receipt because, we were told, the person who gives the receipts was not working when we paid our reservation. Then on our last day, the told us we owed an additional payment, after we were told multiple times our rooms were paid in full. I/we won't return to this location.

Staff is unfriendly
The staff was everything but friendly. The bathroom was not very clean but we were able to use it. The bedding was average the room was spacious but again- not the cleanest. It was an average hotel stay and I have been many places. The items that made this below average was the attitude of staff and the fact that the air conditioner was not working correctly to make it a comfortable stay. We will not be back to this hotel again.

Not the greatest
Room was dark and the mattresses were very hard. The room was small. The service at the front desk is very slow, and not very helpful. Pool is old and not very nice. The drinks were expensive. The food in the restaurant was p[retty good, but the service was slow.

Will not return.
There was an awful smell in my room. Noisy at night due to the show at the hotel next door. I checked out and moved to another hotel. Good location. Staff were ok. Some rooms have safety deposit box but many don’t. No fridge. Will not return.

Basic Hotel
A very basic hotel on Santa Cruz Blvd in Huatulco. The room was clean. When we arrived apparently the last guest had left with the toilet seat. One was provided, but we had to request towels. Amenities in the room are basic, soap in plastic containers, no shampoo. The two times we stayed there the view was of a building right next door. We paid $200 MP for breakfast which was mostly for Mexican guests. The fruit was not fresh and the juice tasted of green oranges. We went to other places for dinner. If you’re on a budget this is an okay hotel. The room with two double beds was $1,240 MP per night. The pool area was very crowded. I think this was because it was the end of Christmas week and many families were on a holiday.
