nice hotel. clean. very good position. only what isn’t so good is that personal doesn’t speak english enough. what the best is people. all workers are so pleasant, honest, friendly, calm, ready to help. for everyone who wants calm environment, next to the sea, and town to go from time to time, this hotel is solution. my recommendation in ratio of payment and services. zeljko

Very well managed hotel

This is a well managed hotel. The facilities are modern. The hotel is ideal if you have a car, or will move by taxi or Ub... since Cartagena's Transcaribe Public Transit does not reach "La Boquilla" area. The beach is across a highway overpass. The breakfast is on the light side (there is no breakfast buffet) but reasonable in calories and well cooked. I loved the corn dough empanadas filled with meat, I had never tried them before and they were a treat. You can also have a two eggs omelette with coffee or two eggs any style. I praise the personnel at this hotel, and the vigilance of management. The beach across the highway is not for instagram, but that is one of the cleaner strips within the city of Cartagena.

Watch out

Very close to the airport and it seems like planes actually go through the hotel every time they land. A car alarm even went off in the car park next to the hotel when a plane came over. Breakfast is very limited. I asked upfront if my gluten allergy would be an issue, they said no because I could order, but nobody knew qhat I could order and all the waitresses, who were nice, only spoke Spanjsh. It's also far from the the old centre and oud Colombian friends told us too dangerous to walk there. It's clean, it's decent. But I would never go back

Cheap and cheerful

I really liked this hotel. Small swimming pool and bar. Quiet and chilled. Yes the staff speak little English- but they speak fluent Spanish lol. I think that’s more the English’s problem than there’s. I used google translate a lot, It must have been hard work for them, and I’m a vegetarian. But they went out of there way to make sure I had everything I needed. I was happy with what I got for the price I paid. Thank you! 😊

Not to our liking

This hotel is clean. The staff are friendly. It is situated very near to the airport and about 20 minutes outside of the town. There is a nice and small pool on the roof where you can order simple food and various alcoholic drinks. Breakfast was not to our liking at all. There was no buffet and waitresses knew no English so we relied on Google translate. The breakfast menu was very limited with no vegetables although a small bowl of fruit, which appeared to have been cut from the previous day, was available. Hot drinks in the form of thermoses of coffee, chocolate and hot water, with different flavoured teas were available. The bedroom - ours had a balcony with 2 plastic chairs - was clean and tidy with a good view to the sea and planes taking off It was extremely basic. No glasses for toothbrush and toothpaste in the bathroom. There was no way to make a hot drink in the bedroom. There was a small fridge.
