Having Wonderful Christmas vacation with family. The food & staff everywhere at Xcaret is top notch. All the restaurants were wonderful. A few of my favorite people… The whole crew at Fuego’s roof top pool the Gil, Angel, & Panfilo they are so attentive. We enjoyed breakfast at Chibali, never to busy & Diana is great.

Disappointing is an understatement. I’m still here now and let me just say this place is definitely not worth the price or hype. The only saving grace is the facility…it’s truly a beautiful property. However, I feel that it’s a waste considering the staff is undertrained and service and food just doesn’t live up to the hype. Let me start with the issues: - Reservations for restaurants are impossible to book unless you call them at least a few weeks before. Even then, you’re not promised a reservation. Also, everything can ONLY be made through the phone. Emails and chat system don’t work. - Expensive and you won’t know what you get. I paid full price for 2 river suites for 5 nights totaling over $16k during Christmas and what I got was one room that smelled like acetone and another “upgraded” room with a King bed for 4 people. I slept 5 nights on a sofa bed with my daughter…my back was hurting. Our friend who paid less and checked in with another staff got a River suite with a swim up and double queens. Our host was quite nasty, he ignored several requests we had and insisted we cannot check in at the same time and wanted to make us line up again. I had no option to request a double queen even though that’s what I requested when I booked. - Service is very poor considering the rates for these rooms. Room service at night is minimum 90 mins wait so we never got any. - Food is mediocre. Many of the items from the restaurants taste like recycled food from the buffet. Some highlights but nothing to rave about. Most of our Ala Carte meals, entrees were left out completely. Las Cuentes which didn’t require a reservation was a 2 hr wait and we only got our seat after we tried to bribe the hostess. When we finally sat down, we saw there were lots of empty tables. I haven’t completed the stay yet but all of the above (and more) just made me compelled to write this review. However, facility is beautiful.

Xcarte Mexico: An amazing experience!
Xcarte Mexico was one of the best experience my wife and I had! Amazing suite view of the lagoon and waterfalls, many dining and bar options, beautiful private adults only pools and beaches, and free shuttles to the airports and numerous parks, I highly recommend. Definitely want to should shout out Alejandro Barrera, Katya Silva & Andrés Álvarez as room butlers that provided recommendations and any questions/concerns promptly and effectively. Definitely should come and explore this place!

Great! Awesome!!
Had great time. Rooms are great. The staff was really nice and helpful and the location on the water amazing! The pool was fun with the family. This was one of my best experience ever had. I would recommend anyone for this place. Will definitely come back in the future.

The best hotel around the world I really love and recommend everything good and fresh food the service is really professional and friendly they have a lot of parks you can choose which one you can go and enjoy for adults and kids thank you Xcaret Mexico.
