We had a family photo session with Briam through Pacific Dream Photography that was simply wonderful. We have a large family with several small children. Briam made the whole experience painless and so much fun. The resort grounds make a perfect backdrop for the pictures. We got a great memory recorded through photographs!

An amazing location for business & families!
My husband was here for a conference and my two children and I were able to tag along. This hotel has amazing staff, housekeeping and enough amenities right on site that you would not need to leave! We had a king with queen bed in the room on ground floor walking out to the pool area. The resort has a small waterslide, lazy river, lagoon (our favorite), hot tubs, family pools and adult pool area. The gardens on property are GORGEOUS. Short walking path to the beach where we saw a seal and turtle napping on the sand. Shipwreck beach is great for surfers but def made me nervous with the kids. They could walk up the cliff though and I got some great photos. We went to Poipu Beach (5 min drive) but make sure to bring water shoes because it is very rocky (restaurant, snorkel shop and shaved ice across street). Recommend renting a car (we used SIXT and had a great experience!) because there is so much to see that is FREE right from your car. The kids liked Kalapaki Joe's for nearby dining (picky eaters) but the resort had a lot of higher-end options too. Hale Nalu was perfect lunch spot on-site for kids, along with Seaview Terrace for breakfast. Big Save grocery was 10 min drive. Mini-Fridge in the room but no microwave. Excellent water pressure in bathroom! Would 10/10 stay again.

Exceptional service
Grand Hyatt was amazing, exceptional staff! Condition of Hotel was great! Special shout out to Steph and Theo! The view is amazing and employees are so helpful and caring! The pool is fantastic, view is exceptional! Go see them! Huge fan of the resort and will return

Though I believe some updates and renovations are needed, the staff are well-trained and friendly and the restaurants provided some great meals. The ground are well cared for and provided a great place to walk or jog along the ocean. We saw a few whale breeches while there. This property is a solid choice on the island.

Top Notch island Reaort
Everyone that visits Kauai needs to stay at the Grand Hyatt Resort. We felt like royalty with our stay. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly. We were celebrating two kids birthdays and they went above and beyond to make them feel special. They also made sure that the other two non Birthday kiddos felt a part of the celebration. The rooms were very clean and the air conditioning was excellent. The pool is what dreams are made of. The kids spent a good 8 hrs in there one of the days and loved the water slide and all the different options of pools. We got some picture perfect photos and memories that will last a lifetime. Thanks so much for the best trip ever! The food and drinks were also delicious!
