Clean hotel that is well situated along the strip of San Jose. It's also walking distance to several restaurants, resorts, and very large supermarkets. The deluxe rooms offer a view of the ocean, which adds to the experience. The free breakfast is also a great value. My room was clean with a very comfortable bed and the staff is friendly. The free breakfast also adds to the value. I simply recommend a facelift by modernizing or eliminating the carpets.

The pillows were the fluffiest I've ever felt the bed was utterly comfortable felt like I was sleeping on a cloud. And the staff is very nice welcoming and accommodating. Price is great and there is so much in walking distance McDonald's Starbucks grocery store

Fifth Floor Ocean View is Worth Upgrade
We stayed 6 nights in a 2 queen bed room and enjoyed it a lot. We paid for the upgrade ocean view on the top floor and it was lovely. Housekeeping did a good job cleaning every day and also providing 2 bottles of water daily (we are Discoverist members of Hyatt Rewards). Breakfast was very busy, perhaps because it ends at 9:30 am on weekends (10 am on weekends) and a lot of people are on vacation so don't get up that early. They did their best to replenish but they kept running out. The variety of items pretty much stayed the same every day so it got a bit boring by the end. In room amenities included a mini refrigerator, safe, and coffeemaker (2-4 cup decanter, drip). The TV had mostly Spanish channels with only CNN, Fox News, ESPN, and I think NFL. The size of the screen and the quality of reception left much to be desired too. It was my wife's birthday and we were thrilled to find a tasty desert waiting for us with 2 forks. The pool and health club are small and not used by many people while we were there. The pool is outdoors and has plenty of towels but no hot tub. Also it is noisy from the nearby highway (which is bumper to bumper coming into town weekdays from 3 to 6 pm!). Overall it is a well-run business hotel but definitely not a resort.

Solid location and value!
Convenient, clean hotel, with decent size rooms. Walking distance to local restaurants, mall and the beach. The breakfast buffet - as others have stated - is truly something to behold. Very busy, but the hotel staff keeps it full and the quality of what is provided is really incredible for a free, included buffet. Absolutely would stay here again and definitely recommend!

It was a walk to the beach 20 mins to airport and the marina. Great if you need a place to sleep n shower. Breakfast was ok. Carpets in hall were ripped and smelly. Staff was nice but everything took time to get and language was a issue. English overall it was a good location for the price
