A great stay at Hyatt Place
We rented car from the airport and reached hotel in the evening. Lady at check in desk had everything ready and we were in the room in no time. Used the luggage trolley to carry all suitcases in one go from the parking lot to the room. The room provided partial ocean view however we being in 1st floor did not see much. Room was very clean and well maintained; the AC is controlled by a remote and not the wall mounted thermostat. Maintenance staff provided us extra pillows in no time. Went to next door super market, around 5 mins walk from the hotel and bought some water, wine, local snacks and checked snorkeling gear which we bought the next day. Had dinner at Lateral Tacos , next to the super-market; avoid drinks and water if you can and that will keep your bill reasonable. Later in the evening, went to the beach through the access road, around 5 mins walk and walked in the sand and dipped our toes in the Sea of Cortez. Water was not that cold as I expected. Next morning, went to see sunrise at the beach and saw the volunteers working to release baby turtles to the ocean; we joined them and it was once in a life time experience. Lucky that we choose this side of the town to stay. In the morning the breakfast buffet started at 630 and went till 930 on weekdays (I believe till 10am on weekends) . All items were well stocked and the kitchen staff worked with a smile in their face; made the breakfast experience so much better. the last hour, by the way gets busy with everyone coming in almost at the same time. Later in the morning, hotel staff offered us with some extra towels for our beach venture and we gladly accepted. We missed the opportunity to reserve going Balandra beach from the hotel desk and plan to take that up next time. Overall, if you are not in a mood for all-inclusive and want to stay outside Cabo San Lucas marina area, Hyatt place is a great option. On Christmas eve, we went to downtown San Jose Los Cabos, 10 mins drive, and enjoyed the festivities, mass at the church and some great food at Jasmine restaurant.

Great hotel if you don't want to stay in a resort.
Great hotel and it's in the middle of shops, restaurants and the beach. 5 minute walk to the grocery store that has more than just grocery. The bus stop is a two minute walk. Great location! The staff was excellent and professional. Overall it was a great stay!

Good choice
I stayed with family in a 2 Queen bed room. Excellent breakfast. Clean rooms. Proximity to beach. Nice neighborhood. 5 min walk to local super market and eateries. Nearness to airport. Not super expensive. Value for money. I don't mind staying here again.

More than expected
My stay at this Hyatt was very peaceful, especially after a hectic day. The staff is very responsive, professional, and friendly with their guests. Also, the breakfast offered was over the top, in my opinion. The most important meal of the day got me started on the right track. I highly recommend you give the Hyatt a chance to earn your business. Thanks

Hidden gem
American standards reasonably priced. Parking garage if you rent and right off of route 1, a block away from beach. 5 minutes to walk across the gorgeous beach for sunrise. Hotel has American spread for breakfast as well as Mexican items so we really enjoyed trying something new. Swimming pool stays in shadow of the building so really liked that on hot day. Breakfast lounge area is huge and rooms are huge. Very comfortable bed and even though next to highway we couldn’t hear anything thanks to concrete building style in Mexico. Wish they do that in America! Hotel landscape is very pretty flowers. We rented a car so going to different places was easy from here. However saw ton of taxi or Uber so next time maybe we will not rent a car.
