Room Service Breakfast Scam
Very disappointed with a few aspects of the stay. The biggest one was room service. One day it didn’t arrive (I had to call and they brought it up complimentary - but it was late). The next day it arrived on time but I was told to pay for the full breakfast plus the £5 room service. I already had a room with bed and breakfast but apparently this only included food downstairs? I have stayed in hotels of all stars and this is the first time I’ve ever heard of paying TWICE for breakfast just because you have room service. The staff member went downstairs, I had a phone call from another member of staff, we kept going around in circles. They said they’d speak to a manager but then I just had a knock at the door and the original staff member took the room service food away. Very strange decision as I would hope that food wouldn’t be re served. What a waste. But I certainly wasn’t paying twice for food. The rooms are ok, a bit basic. Marks on the bathroom floor and a bath screen that wouldn’t move. Small bath and toilet. Pillows uncomfortable. Awful TV, no HD, no apps, the screen gets stuck and constantly shows the channel name and programme, covering 20% of the screen. You can only go to the floor your key card is allocated to. This is ok for security but very unhelpful when staying with other guests and you want to visit their room. Very expensive drinks.

Great customer service
Fantastic stay and spa. Even though the check in was delayed, we were offered an upgrade and the receptionist customer service was fantastic. The breakfast was delicious with a great variety of tasty and healthy options. Thank you for our stay

Terrible hotel - AVOID
This is NOT a luxury hotel. The breakfast is a rip off over 30 pounds each with the service charge. Room was tired, old and shabby, smelt terrible. I left my phone and charger in the room by accident after checking out. Which apparently had vanished and no one from the hotel had bothered to call me back. Avoid this hotel like the plague.

A most wonderful stay and superb service and staff members.
Truly a wonderful and refreshing experience! I'm only sad that our visit was so short, but the hotel is fantastic and everyone that works there is very good at what they do and exceptionally friendly and helpful! We want to return to Birmingham again soon so that we can stay at the Hyatt Regency while we are there. A great stay to say the least!

Such Nice People
Probably this is the friendliest hotel in the city of Birmingham. Everyone from the car park staff through to reception and hospitality are always warm, happy and courteous. Enjoyed another fabulous stay. A big thank you to Gab on check in. Michael
