    The Most Arrogant Management Ever!

The Most Arrogant Management Ever!! We chose to stay at Hyatt Regency Churchill London. There is a lot of miscommunication with the reception team. As a Lifetime Globalist we asked to speak to the general manager. O! No! Way! All we got is his Very Arrogant & Unprofessional reply. Let the reception deal with issues. Like do not disturb me. We received a very bad attitude from the staff and from him. We found his name online and we tried to reach him. What Shocked us most is that when he was the GM of Hyatt Place Heathrow he was a nice man. Now at this Hotel he thinks he is above Hyatt loyal guests Shame on you Georges Amoura for acting like an elite aristocrat. Hospitality is about Service, Respect to Guests and Communication, you FAIL All!

    Home away from Home

My favorite hotel in London is the Churchill. The location is excellent. I love the rooms. The concierge are so warm and friendly and it really makes me feel like a home away from home. The hotel has a lovely ambiance and I always enjoy my stay. Love the Churchill.

Lovely hotel that was ruined by poor experience with receptionist.

Stayed here on 14th of November 2024 It was booked Via HSBC Concierge service. pre arrival - I tried calling on the 13th to confirm the booking with the Hotel, unfortunately I was advised that their Internet was down and they couldn't check bookings until later in the day, I called the morning of the booking while I was on my way to London, the first person I spoke to kept asking for a reservation number which I didn't have to hand and they couldn't take my name or any other info to find the booking so they put me though to their Concierge desk, had to then explain to the Concierge desk that I'd been put though by mistake that put me back though to reception who hung up on me. Called again spoke to a different person they took my name and confirmed my booking when I asked about early checking in they advised me best to find out when we arrive but they can take bags and secure them. Arrival - We arrived around 1pm at the hotel and went to check in. The receptionist that delt with us was the same one that put me though to the concierge desk earlier. After taking our names she advised if we wanted to check in early we of needed to select the option when booking. There is no option for this when booking though the Concierge service, but also states when booking "early check in (when available)" so we signed in they took my payment information and ID and gave them our bags and coat to look after while we went out and waiting for the room. when they did take the bag (still the same one receptionist) they decided to drag my coat along the floor. we eventually got a call at 15:26 to say our room was ready. we headed back and spoke to a different receptionist who gave us our key provided us with all the info the first receptionist had not. we were advised our bags would be in our room waiting for us. They were not, a call down to reception and a 30ish min wait for them to find our bags and coats. Room - was a decent size very clean Bed was very comfortable for a hotel bed. only issue with the room would be the shower. It was a shower over a very slim old bathtub better to replace with a shower cubicle. We also used the restaurant that night. I had the burger and partner had the club sandwich, food came quick and was good only issue was no condiments were offered or given it was pretty quite so no one to ask. when they came to clear the table we asked for the desert menu, to be told that the kitchen closes in 15mins and that we need to be quick. which is fine however the delivery of the message made us feel unwelcome, so we decided against any desert and left. We received Shortbread, tea and wine along with welcome letters which is all very nice these were received in 3 deliveries, would of preferred this to be coordinated into 1 . Breakfast - was amazing cooked perfectly so much choice I love breakfast and this had everything and anything you could want and more. Checking out - unfortunately we got the same receptionist to check out. spoke very quietly so needed the bill printing out as couldn't hear what they said. Bill was missing the credit you get for booking via the Concierge service. They do also add Discretionary Accommodation Service Charge of around 5%

    Rude reception

Very rude receptionist at night. Called Nina The room was not stocked properly. Called her for 2 glasses. Said all room service is very busy and told us off. David the receptionist was helpful and great in addressing the issue. Stay away from NINA the receptionist. She brings down the reputation of this hotel. Shame on her!
