Best vacation ever! Beautiful property. Clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Bed was a little uncomfortable. Pools were awesome. Food was average. Luau can be loud at night- would not recommend staying on west end of Lahaina tower if you have little kids. We will be back.

Great Experience
Possibly the best hotel that I ever stayed at. Everything was awesome but the long walk from the parking lot to the room carrying luggage. (sure, we could have used the valet service). Food was pricey but very good. The walking path was nice to the shops and it was nice having a supermarket 2 1/2 miles away.

This is my second stay at this property and overall it's very nice, with just a few things that feel a little off making it 4 stars. Mind you, I wouldn't feel this way if the standard room I was staying in was not $800 (base plus fees), but that is the case, thus no 5th star. Pros: - Rooms - Updated and very well done. The bed is comfortable and the bathrooms are large and easily accommodate two people. - Food and Beverage - Very good. We ate at the breakfast buffet as well as the sushi restaurant. Both were exceptional and overall the pricing was fair for Hawaii. - People - The people that work here are incredibly nice and always willing to help out with anything. - Gym - Well equipped and clean. - Pool - The pro is it's very warm and very large (con below) Cons: - Poolside service - If you don't go up to the bar or sit in the eating area, service feels sparse and basically non-existent. - Sushi restaurant waiting area service - Same as poolside, you have to walk up to the bar to get drinks while waiting 20-30 minutes for a table at the restaurant. Why not have a server service this area?? - Pool renovation - What happened to the grotto, waterfalls and pool bar? Also, if you're going to get rid of such a large area, consider shallowing out the remaining pool. It's WAY too deep and forces people to crowd into the shallow area. Overall, this Hyatt is very close to a 5 star luxury resort. Would I stay here again, yes, due to proximity to Kapalua and Lahaina, but for the price I'd rather stay at the Grand Wailea.

Amazing and memorable experience for our family of 4!
Absolutely amazing and memorable family vacation ! We loved every second of the location and property. The staff sent a great gift to our room for my husband’s birthday that made his day. Our kids ages 7 and 9 loved the three on property pools, walk to whaler’s villager and the use of the wrist bands for towels and room entry. We will be back!

Great Vacation Hotel
Awesome hotel and great location. Really enjoyed our time at the Hyatt Regency. Location is great for all excursions and many dining options. We went whale watching, scuba diving and UTVing. Pool bar was really good and checkin was fast. Would recommend to anyone!
