Overrated, would never recommend or go back, between the service we received was terrible, the food was terrible and the beds are very uncomfortable. Everything is a rip off. Do your self a favour and don’t bother go somewhere else. We were a wedding group of 40 plus and all felt the same.

Jan 20, 2025Another Memorable Iberostar Vacation
Our group of friends and family were 11 adults. We had one of the best trips!! Check in and check out was very quick. The bell boys were so helpful and kind: Alejandro, Sergio, Wilberto. Our rooms at the Selection side were basic, but clean and the beds were so comfortable - we had everything we needed. Our maid Ricardo was excellent at fulfilling our requests. The elevators were all working and they have recently been updated with no-touch surfaces - awesome! The food is not as fancy as some resorts but we were pleased with all the choices, and enjoyed the new Italian restaurant menu. I had some of the best hamburgers at the restaurant near the beach, and also some awesome quesadillas at the food truck by the beach. Coconut and mango ice creams were so good! We had wonderful service from Omar, Cecilia and Jesus at the buffet. And we absolutely love seeing Inez there every year (one of the cleaning crew at the restaurants). She is always so happy. Jacinto and Marizol at the buffet came around often to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. There were specialty dishes made fresh outside the buffet every day that we were there, like various meat tacos and paella. The entertainment team was the bomb, and we participated in so many fun activities: yoga, Zumba, aqua aerobics, boot camp, pickleball, darts, bingo, water volleyball, and so many crazy games. We still can't get the song of the resort out of our heads :) - Heyyyy Baby, ooh, aah, I want to know, would you be my girl. Thank you to the whole team (hope I'm not leaving anyone out): Jefe Alexis, Luis, Jackie, Pepe, Alex, Francisco, Diego, Jimmy, Hector, Kayla, Ruben, Pedro, Angel, Gabo, Luis, Erik, Dhaira. You were incredible!! We were so worn out by the days' activities that we didn't attend the night time shows, but we truly enjoyed the live music each night before the evening shows. Finally, one of the reasons we keep going back to this resort is the very large property, the amazing numerous pools, the open layout of the whole property, and lovely well-lit common areas and clear windows that allow you to see see all the way past the lobby to the pools and the beautiful beach. We have gone to many Cancun resorts and in our opinion, this property just cannot be matched.

Thank you for making our trip seamless
This review is specifically for a gentleman name Alberto that works in the Maguey Mexican restaurant at the resort. He provided quick, quality, caring service to my husband and I on multiple occasions. This type of service is consistent across the board when it comes to this Iberostar resort. This was our first experience at an all inclusive and we were blown away. Service, food, cleanliness, safety and comfort are all priority for the staff here. It’s so evident that they love their jobs. God bless each of you!! Highly recommend this resort.

Amazing experience - will definitely return!
Recently returned from a wonderful week vacation with my husband and our 5 month old! The resort is very well maintained, the service we received was amazing (special shout out to Santiago at the buffet!), the food was great, and the beach was just perfect! The resort attracts a really nice crowd, it is super family friendly and easily accessible with the stroller as there are ramps throughout! Was a little concerned with some of the negative reviews we had seen pop up prior to our trip, but can say that was certainly not our experience! Would definitely say the Italian and Mexican were the best a la cartes! Only slight draw back was the membership presentation we got drawn into was slightly pushy but was worth it for the free massage ! :P
