    Love it here

I had such a wonderful stay here in December with my family, it was my mums birthday and Kerry from members services went above and beyond for us! The staff at aunty rubys restaurant for breakfast and dinner were very attentive, especially chef Randy he also went above and beyond for us. I will definitely be returning.

    Martin & Gina

When I arrived here I thought I was being punked., as soon as me and my wife checked in we were being hustled for money., asking to be part of some modified time share program which I felt was very rude since we had just checked in.and already paid for the trip and of course they wanted more money, after that episode we went to jerk hut and was treated like garbage they stared at us like we were zombies, did not greet us by using the common greeting of how may I help you, just a blank mean stare. This is not a five star its barely a three star. The elevator was making noises like it was going to break down we had a big roach in our room, chipped furniture mold in the shower. The safe was broke paint on safe numbers wires coming out of television. Tub dirty house keeping coming at four thirty pm to clean room. The owner Miguel Fluxa Rossello is doing a disservice to the customers who support his business this is false advertisement and a terrible place to vacation your resort ruined my wife vacation. Beware if you stay here.

    Trevaughn

The bellman Trevaughn is the nicest, most dedicated worker I encountered this vacation. He was always ready to take my mother and I between the resorts on the golf carts and always had a smile on his face! We needed directions to a restaurant and he gladly drove us there. We will be back

    Jamaican luxury resort

A luxury resort with large, comfortable rooms; extensive buffets and bars; plus amazing service - I booked this hotel to celebrate a major milestone and while check-in took longer than I wished, I was quickly shown my room which was ocean front (all rooms are given hotel design) that was east facing to capture those sunrises. Thankfully the room oversaw the kids camp that was silent during my week - The main buffet was closed for many nights yet I was routed to the buffets of the sister hotels which always had ample food selection - one of the most extensive selections in my tours of healthy options (especially at breakfast - granola, juice bar, fruits, etc.) plus salad bars, vegan and ethnic options. I only tried the steak a la carte and had a perfectly cooked (large, US portion) steak while gazing at the sea and delicious sides. The pineapple carpaccio was a go back for item! The beach was clean and at this time of year, nothing was overly crowded. The added joy of drink service on the beach plus a "food truck" with daily jerk chicken and fries was a hit. Special shout-out to Doreen at the swim up bar for excellent drinks and a mean bloody mary! Lots of entertainment around yet I went for sun and relaxation -

Mid-sized Resort With the Feel of a Small One

This was a delightful week for us. The staff couldn’t have been nicer and the layout provides plenty of variety without a lot of walking. Beautiful beach with plenty of palapas for shade, significant area for snorkeling with nice rock formations and a variety of tropical fish (they have masks, snorkels and fins to borrow), a large variety of activities including a lazy river to tube on, kayaks and catamarans to check out, a full service dive shop on the beach ( more expensive than I’m used to - use of fins, gear, and suit rent for extra and they only do single dives), a good variety of restaurants. Speaking of restaurants, this place is in the top three of all the resorts we’ve visited as far as good food. The steaks were particularly memorable, but the seafood was equally good. The buffet was open a bit sporadically, but there were plenty of other options including several jerk shacks and fast food spots on the beach. We had a minor problem with the room safe the first night, but they replaced it the next day. The rooms were clean and spacious and we were surprised with an upgrade to beach front. The bath tub was big enough for two and there was p,entry of space for storage of clothing, Beds were comfortable, The one disappointment was the theatre. Not the performers, but the sound engineer kept the volume at jet engine level. We made it through one performance, again, the performers were excellent, but decided we had to skip the next night. Just too loud. They had other entertainment in the beach including a Jamaican night the last evening we were there with an excellent live band and a DJ. There were other entertainments as well: trivia, karaoke, and a jazz lounge. Definitely this ranks as one of the best resorts we’ve stayed at.
