This Resort has it all for families We have stayed at Bavaro Selection and Waves Dominicana. Amenities, food, and service are outstanding. The Star Prestige team love their job and are always ready to help you have the best time. We'll be back!!

Mar 25, 2025A bad drink that made a difference.
While it has the service, the food, the location are excellent, as well as the facilities. I give it a 3 score because I lived an unpleasant experience for the mistreatment of a person from the “Iberostar membership club”. At the hotel they offered me and my partner to have a breakfast in the most luxurious hotel of the “Joia” chain which is sincerely beautiful, Alexis came to look for us a very attentive and friendly seller.. we had breakfast, he showed us all the facilities, he told us the benefits we would have if we joined the membership which was very attractive the proposal for people with high purchasing power and who travels quite a lot in the year. Everything came perfect, until we arrived at the offices, to decide whether or not to join, which depends on a large deposit, after chatting with Alexis, came a gentleman (Alexis boss) named Cristian, which was also very correct, and gave us even possibility of bonuses to pay the deposit, but our decision was always the same, that we wanted to consult with our families, that at that time could not access so much amount, both Alexis and Cristian understood it. Until the last person “in charge of a quality of treatment survey” appears a bald man of Mexican nationality in which he began to treat me very aggressively, he did not understand that I had to consult him, he got into my personal economic questions, why I did not pay with my salary the membership instead of having to consult him with the family company, in a superb way and an insistent attitude, he did not respect my personal decision at any time , which made me feel uncomfortable and distressed until I had to cut it and I stopped to leave and did not even greet us. All this, it left me with a bitter drink on the Iberostar staff. I already disclaimed the hotel, on the hotel app, but I didn't know whether or not they took the matter. I leave this written so that future people who stay at the Iberostar chain and offer you the “membership” will not pass and ruin your vacation or your day and your time (they tell you q is 90 min and it takes us 4 hs) as it did to me that left me distressed all day.

Unforgettable holidays
I traveled with my friend Gaby, we spent an amazing holiday! Everything is spectacular, I would return a thousand times more! I want to highlight the attention of Concierge Pedro, he was accompanying us throughout the stay attentive to any need. We felt reassured knowing that we could contact him at any time.
