Feb 21, 2025Meh wouldn’t recommend
Good resort if your 60+ and go to bed at 9pm. No room service, minibar consists of 3 sodas, food is oily and not that great but desserts are good, rooms are meh, a/c didn’t work first night build quality looks like drunken apprentice built it and you have to walk 10+ mins to bar or to get food.

The hotel grounds and pool area are beautiful. My husband and I travelled with two other couples. I recommended the Iberostar as we loved them, and have stayed in a number of them in the past. This one was a disappointment. The staff was more concerned with trying to get you to a vacation/timeshare meeting than looking after the regular customer. I am telling you this, as you are losing business! Could not get into the al La Carte restaurants as they were reserved for the timeshare people, however after complaining to management we did get into the Japanese restaurant twice and the Italian restaurant one time. No service at the regular pool, with the exception of one girl walking around twice …after you already got your own drink at the bar. The food was very good, no complaints there. The rooms were tired and need serious upgrades. Our king sized bed mattress was so hard it was like sleeping on the floor (room 2009). The furniture- couch and chair were very dated and uncomfortable. Bathroom taps rusty….the whole bathroom needs a renovation. The Iberostar to me in the past, always meant excellent accommodation, service and food …not this location …wouldn’t go back.

Great stay! Very friendly staff and food was good. Beach was nice but a bit rough. Pool side was great as long as you got there early enough to grab a chair! Javier was fantastic and a great consierge. Lots of great animal sightings! Beautiful paths to get you where you need to go.

Vacations
The poolside activities during the day were also fantastic. Service excellent. We will definitely come again for vacation. Ana is Amazing !! Amazing resort. Lots to do and see. Entertainment staff were fun and engaging and even remembered our faces from day to day.

Couples trip
Couples trip! Hotel was great. Tons of wildlife around. Beautiful kept landscape. Very friendly staff. Great conversations with Javier(Utah) in the front lobby! Pool bar staff was great. Frank makes great margaritas! Entertainment staff was great at the pool and the evening shows. Food was great at the buffet and the restaurants every meal! Only thing I would like to see is an option for a light beer choice at the bars. Great place that I would recommend to anyone.
