Feb 19, 2025Great spot to get away with friends and family
We went with 3 couples and 6 children and stayed at the Seaweed Villa and Next Door. Our villa host Adrian was awesome and the villa staff was great and took amazing care of us for the duration of our stay. They cooked great food and kept the place looking fantastic. The location is great with a calm cove and nice beach nearby and the villa pool is great too. The views are great and on property at Jakes, the food and drink are great and nearby Jack Sprat is a cool hang out spot. Treasure Beach is quiet and different than some of the other busy tourist destinations on the island and I mean that in the best possible way. We would definitely recommend and would return.

Jakes Hotel in Treasure Beach is paradise!
WOW! This place is beyond what I ever could have hoped for. My wife booked the seaweed cottage (2 bedroom) for 5 nights, for her 40th birthday. It was just my wife and two kiddos and I. They made the best breakfast ever in the mornings right in our house! I recommend the pancakes! Oneil was an amazing driver and Adrian was a wonderful concierge to us. Dont forget to bring lots of cash or withdraw lots of Jamaican money after you arrive for tips! Tipping ensures you get great service all the time!!! They also made amazing dinners for us, jerk chicken and escavietch, and some sort of fish. Jack Sprats is great too if you feel like a night out! YS falls was a blast, the crocodile tour in Black River is an absolute MUST! Go fishing one morning, its absolutely amazing! Dont miss out on the mosaic tile class by Rhonda either!!! Its so wonderful and such a memorable fun experience! I cant wait to go back and bring my whole family!

Paradise on Treasure Beach
Last night in paradise and already missing our gorgeous villa, sandy beach, incredible food and amazing staff. I feel so grateful we were able to enjoy this week here. Seaweed Villa is better than we could have possibly imagined. It’s paradise. We hope to return soon!

Charming and welcoming stay at Jake’s!
I stayed at Jake's Villa earlier this month during a volunteer work trip, and it was a fantastic experience. The villa has a unique, artsy vibe with charming decor and beautiful ocean views. The staff was incredibly welcoming, making me feel right at home. The food was great, and the location in the heart of the community felt safe and comfortable. It was the perfect place to relax after a busy day of volunteering!

Jake’s Hotel in Jamaica
A group of us went to Jamaica on a mission trip to repair a roof destroyed by Hurricane Beryl. The owner of Jake’s, Mr. Jason graciously offered us to stay for free at this wonderful resort and restaurant for the week. We were blessed with beautiful weather the whole week and by the end of the week completely rebuilt the framework and installed the zinc metal roof. Last day Jason treated us on a short boat ride out to Floyd’s Pelican bar. Great trip. Highly recommend Jake’s as a destination if you are in Jamaica.
