Just returned from a week at Joia Bavaria and can only say it was the best all inclusive experience we have had. Food was absolutely fantastic, Bruno at the swim up bar always remembered our drink order, and the swim up room was lovely. Roselily, our maid was great and the room was a lovely size. Even next to the theatre, it was really quiet most nights. I cannot say enough about our butlers, Junior and Houston! They went the extra mile trying to get through to our tour operator to confirm our pick up time several times throughout the week and the service between them was seamless.

Great service.
Rosa was our ambassador and she took care of everything we needed. She had specific wine waiting on us at our dinner each night. Great service by all staff. There was some minor things they could improve on. All the pickle balls were cracked. I did not come here to play pickle ball but for one hour it was disappointing and a pretty easy fix by the resort. The bingo balls were also worn out so they could not read several of the balls. But all the important things they do right at Iberostar. They make you feel like a king.

Amazing week at the Joia
My family and I spent a week at Joia Bavaro celebrating my mother’s 70th birthday. The experience was above and beyond anything I could have expected. I’ve stayed at several Iberostar resorts and have loved every single one. But this experience at the Joia was even better every single one of those. The staff is unbelievable. The grounds are gorgeous, the food is amazing, the ambiance is 10 out of 10, the beach is beautiful…everything was amazing. All of the staff went above and beyond our expectations and are some of the most wonderful people we’ve ever met on a trip. While everyone was amazing to our family I want to highlight a few staff who were especially helpful and made our trip that much better. Yary at the Bella Vista buffets and a La carte restaurants was so wonderful. She made us feel welcome and taken care of the entire week. She is wonderful and Iberostar is so lucky to have her as a member of their staff. Also at the restaurants and buffets we had exceptional service from Samuel, Ramona, Irene, Iris, and Franilda. Augusto at the star prestige beach also made our stay amazing. He is wonderful and helps all the guests fantastically. Ery at the pool bar was also a welcome face every day and made our stay even more enjoyable. As club members, we also felt extremely well taken care of by every single member of the star prestige staff. They are wonderful and a joy to engage with. Lastly, our butler for the week, Cesar, went way above and beyond anything we expected. He gave us all we asked for and assisted with everything all week. We will 100% be returning to the Joia as soon as possible. Our week was magical and I can’t wait to come back.

Iberostar Joia Delivers another great vacation
Beautiful resort, excellent restaurants, phenomenal service, great golf course! Iberostar never disappoints! We’ve been to other luxury resorts but keep coming back to Joia. This was our 3rd visit and it’s as good or better than previous. Only weakness is the spa. Mediocre massages and minimal spa amenities. We were told they are renovating so hopefully that will improve.

A beautiful and lovely resort. Great food! We love going to Iberostar bc the food is always delicious. Seafood night was legit! Our butler and the service were top notch. It’s not a huge party resort but just enough. Perfect for couples in their mid 30s. We’re also golfers so we hit the course. One of THE nicest courses we’ve been to hands down. The clubs you rent are actually nice ones too. Not on complaint!
