Memorable Experience
It takes a lot for a hotel to stand out as being exceptional as there are so many parts involved to make it work smoothly but this one definitely is. A spacious, interesting and multidimensional building maintained in an immaculate state perfectly situated is a good start but add to this eager and attentive staff and the choice of three very good restaurants is the icing on the cake. Although there are 120 rooms there never seemed to be a lot of people in one place. The spa was excellent, the gym (facilities) adequate (and underused). We preferred the buffet style of breakfast and dinners on offer due to the fabulous choice rather than the slightly more “upmarket” restaurants. A sandy beach lies just below the hotel but there is a “walking” promenade extending many kilometres north and south as well. Excellent nearby shopping centres and wonderful local restaurants (including 5 Michelin starred locations all within a 7 minute drive) explain why the vast majority of guests are “return customers”. Good luck with your booking!

Fabulous yet again!
Our second stay at this wonderful hotel. Upon arrival we were greeted like old friends & it was lovely the staff recognised you. We had a beautiful room, not sure if we had been upgraded due to it being our second visit but it was amazing. Fab food, pool & atmosphere. Special thanks to Orlando who is just what all hotels need. Carlos & Huerta ( the main big boss of the restaurant who looked after us as well as Victoria. We can’t wait to go back

Amazing stay!
This was our fourth vacation with the Mirador and we still haven`t found anything sincere to complain about. The reception staff went the extra mile to get us exactly the room we desired, my birthday was honoured with several gifts, the guys at the pool were extremely helpful. Breakfast left nothing to be desired. We will be back (but please try to refrain from rising your prices further and further).

Best hotel in the Canaries?
As we were checking in, a guest came over and congratulated us on choosing "not only the best hotel on Tenerife, but the best in the Canaries". I suspect that he's right - a lot of the guests seemed to be regulars. The hotel is in a very nice location just behind Playa del Duque, a beautiful sandy beach. Turn right on the coastal path and after about a mile you come to a lovely little town, La Caleta, which has many good restaurants (we particularly enjoyed the tapas in Tapitas). About a mile to the left is Funabe, which is livelier than the Playa del Duque area and, beyond there, is a string of resorts catering for the mass tourism market., Everything worked well. The hotel was full when we were there, but there was never a queue for the restaurant and always plenty of sunbeds available. The staff, who also seem to be having a good time, are a great asset, from the reception team to the waiting staff and the very helpful pool staff who would rush over to help any guest wanting to move a bed or put up an umbrella. The breakfast selection is excellent and each evening there is a different theme in the restaurant - we ate there three evenings and found the seafood evening to be particularly good. The enormous lagoon-style pool is pleasantly warm and there is entertainment in the atmospheric bar area each evening until 10:30pm, which is a nice way to round the day off. We will go back.

A worthy challenge to Barbados with a shorter flight
Definite 5 star adults only hotel, excellent service from very attentive staff. Having requested not a ground floor room was allocated a top floor sea view with pillared balcony, thank-you. Hotel and local restaurants give a wide choice of local and international cuisine. We will return.
