Do not stay here
Old and run down, furniture in the room is beat up and in poor condition, no elevator. There are coffee stains and newspaper transfer on the nightstand. They charge 35/day to park. To PARK. Do you know how ridiculous that is!?

DO NOT stay here.
DO NOT stay here. The building is super run down and dirty. Our carpet was so dirty it made our feet dirty. There were cockroaches in the room - one crawled out of our coffee maker. The beds were not comfortable at all, and the towels were thin and old looking. We were shocked at what a bad experience this was given how much we paid. We are not fussy people but this place was just dirty, gross and run down. We left early and went somewhere else. We didn't even talk to management; it's clear by the amount of bad reviews that things are not being addressed. And the noise from the nightly luau was distracting to say the least. Do yourself a favor - stay somewhere else.

Room was old and definitely disappointing. Kainoa was great
The Ocean Inn is old and run down. We were very upset with our accommodations for the price we paid !! We complained to the young man at the front desk, Kainoa, at the Royal Kahaina. He was very polite and he put us in a much nicer room

70’s crack house…very poor!
Read all other reviews, do not book here! Don’t know where to start….no lift, disgusting corridors, room was like stepping back to a 70s crack house, dirty carpets, soggy beds, bird pooh on the balcony, mold in bathroom, mold on ceiling, broken tiles in shower, loudest air con ever so could not use! Ants, yes ants crawling all over bathroom and units, we told reception and they weren’t interested as we weren’t stopping at their other nicer hotel onsite! The response you get from the hotel of “our rooms are priced accordingly” is insulting! We paid $1200+ for 4 nights and to rub salt in the wound we were charged $40 per night to park….joke! Can’t believe hotels.com actually sell hotels like this, do they not read reviews?

RUN -- FAR AWAY - this place is SO GROSS.. They should be ashamed!!
Run, do not walk, quickly away from this property. We are a couple in our mid 50s and travel A LOT.. this is the WORST place we have ever had to stay a night. Ever. The "Inn" is so gross. I thought we were on a reality show and it was a joke at first. The room smelt like urine, mold, and smoke. The walls had mud (I hope it was mud) and other smears of yuck all over. I am not joking that we slept in our shoes. We were in a bind so had to stay here for one night. We checked in at 9pm and was out of there as soon as the sun came up. When we checked out and discussed how amazingly awful this room was with the front desk, we were told basically, "yes, we know... The Inn sits so close to the ocean it can't be torn down to rebuild that close again, so they keep "renovating" it." I felt badly for the staff. This Inn needs to be condemned. DO NOT STAY HERE. I still wonder what we might have picked up from this room. RUN... RUN....
