The staff is awesome, the portions at the Outrigger are huge, and the ocean is beautiful. This was an anniversary trip and we decided we didn't want to to anything but relax & hang out by the pool, this was the perfect destination for us. Definitely will come back again.

Excellent staff and customer service
Our housekeeper Elsa was excellent! She took the time to learn our first names and greeted us personally each time. The front desk staff were both friendly and efficient. So was the bellpersons. We appreciated the Aliha Spirit the staff embodied.

Wonderful experience!
The hotel property, the room, the beach, and the staff were all wonderful! My husband and I had a great time and we plan to be back. The convenience of being right in Lihue was a benefit as well. We were close to many restaurants and shopping areas.

Feb 13, 2025It would probaby be worth paying a bit more for a better place.
Carpet is frayed in multiple places, flooring in elevator needs replacement, paths leading to buildings are narrow, doors into lobby are blocked off to create an egress challenge. Airplane noise. Expensive food. Parking is $30 a night and a long distance from rooms through a circuitous path partially along a road with no sidewalk.

East coast paradise has it all
Kauai is a beautiful island with friendly people, great food, & a real tropical paradise, & Outrigger Kauai resort is no exception! The facility was clean, attentive, accessible, & provided everything we wanted in our Hawaiian business retreat! Highly recommend.
