- Golf †There are two championship golf courses at the Waikoloa Beach Resort. Both designed by leading names in today's golf world. Whether a beginner or a pro, players find the challenge exhilarating and the scenery breathtaking. Waikoloa´s classic Kings´ Course, designed by former British Open champion Tom Weiskopf and Jay Morrish, is a Big Island golf course offering the best of two worlds: a great links-style layout that reflects the rugged seacoast of Scotland – yet set on an island paradise where brilliant color flashes across the thousand shades of green, and Mauna Kea towers in the distance. The 7,000+ yard Kings´ Course meanders over and around an ancient lava flow, and its wide, undulating fairways are framed by palm trees and vibrant flowers of Hawaii. Multiple tee placements, and challenging pot bunkers add complexity to the Big Island Hawaii golf course complete with a double green on holes #3 and #6. Designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr., the Beach Course at this expansive Waikoloa golf resort winds its way along historic lava flows near Anaehoomalu Bay – impressing even avid golfers with hypnotic ocean views, swaying coconut palms and tropical trade winds. Immaculate greens are well-guarded by numerous white sand bunkers and strategically placed, shimmering water features, but the ultimate Waikoloa beach golf experience may be the Beach Course’s 502-yard par 5 twelfth–known throughout the islands as the most spectacular oceanfront par-five in Hawaii. Not only is it a challenging golf hole, its rocky point over the breakers is an awesome place to spot humpback whales and misty, distant views of other Hawaiian Islands.

Incredible Hawaiian Vacation
This place is perfect for families! The hotel pool has slides and we watched the sunset each night from our veranda. We took the shuttle to the large Hilton hotel and swam in the lagoon multiple days. The very first day, we rented a paddle board and I went out with my 4 year old and a turtle swam under us! This simply wouldn’t have been an option in the open ocean with young kids. We’re already planning to come back in a few years!

Didn’t want to go home!
Very nice condo and close to the beach, shopping and restaurants. We spent every night on the lanai and enjoyed 2 pool days when the tide was too high. Can’t wait to go back again

Beautiful resort complex
The resort is huge and the amenities are great. The main pool is a resort in itself. A shuttle runs on a regular schedule. There are several resorts located within the Hilton Grand Vacation Club complex. A public beach with restrooms is located within the complex. Our unit had a full kitchen and laundry facilities. The grounds were well kept and staff were extremely helpful and pleasant.

Room poor, facilities ok
Stayed here for 3 nights and was less than impressed. The facilities themselves are good, however the room we were allocated was anything but Best way to describe it is "worn out". Carpets/rugs are noticeably dirty. We were allocated an ADA room(we didn't need it) and some of the equipment was poorly maintained, the fold down seat in the shower, was just down right gruby We were in building 6, which put us as close to the pools as anyone can get, without getting wet. Our room.was ground floor closest to the pool and pool music at 08:30, was less than welcome Not sure what others see in the place, I certainly would not recommend

Nice resort, could improve
The hotel grounds are nice and the pools are great. The breakfast buffet was good and reasonably priced for Hawaii. However there were some issues: 1. The layout of the master in the two bedroom units is super awkward with a stall toilet behind frosted glass and no proper door. There is a curtain to separate the bathroom from the bedroom but that’s all. There is just not enough privacy, I don’t care how comfortable you are with your significant other. 2. There were multiple things broken in the room, the TV streaming did not work and we had to call the front desk twice to send someone to fix it. There were broken drawers. There was a leak under the toilet. 3. The kitchen was lacking basic supplies like a baking sheet for the oven. We called housekeeping and the brought a small one. The oven was difficult to figure out. There is no liquid dish soap provided, only soap for the dishwasher. No way to just wash one or two items by hand. 4. The Wi-Fi was spotty and unreliable and would go in and out throughout the day. This is not okay if you need to work remote while visiting. 5. The guest services desk frequently did not answer the phone. 6. Our room was serviced once during our 6 night stay. The dirty towels were removed but were not replaced so we had to call for replacement towels and wait. Sheets were not clean and had stains. I had to call three times until someone came to change them. We enjoyed our stay but not sure I would want to come back. W
