Feb 13, 2025Last minute reservation was great decision!
I recently stayed at Kokomo for 5 nights along with 3 other friends. We originally booked an AirBnb in Turks but made a last minute change a week before our trip due to some general safety concerns. Kokomo was one of the few places that still had availability at a reasonable price point. All the reviews sounded positive to so we made the switch. We were 100% happy with our decision. From the time I booked our reservation I received helpful and quick communication on any questions I had. The resort was a short distance from the airport, and our check-in was so fast with friendly service and a delicious drink to welcome us. It was surprising to us how quiet the resort was. It's definitely not a place to party and have a lot of activities, which is what we were looking for. We just wanted to relax, have access to a pool and restaurant, and we appreciated having staff available at any time. The landscaping at the resort was lush and just made you feel relaxed like you were at a spa. The pool area was beautiful. It was on the small side, but there were times when we were the only ones there, or maybe 2-3 others. We spent most of our time at the beach either close by or at Grace Bay. The shuttle service to get to the beach was very convenient, and the staff was so friendly and accommodating. The beach area itself was nice - it was great having umbrellas and lounge chairs that you didn't have to pay for, and the staff from the neighboring Wymara resort took care of us with drinks and food. We appreciated the fact that we were given a cell phone to use for the entire trip with specific taxi drivers programmed in. We chose Rico for our first trip and stuck with him the entire time. It was either him or his sister that would drive us around, and Rico would always call and follow up to make sure we got picked up and dropped off safely. Typically, a ride would be available within 15 min of us calling, and the cost was very reasonable. We only ate at the restaurant onsite one time, mainly because we wanted to go to different places. But it was delicious and very nice to have a place there to eat on our first night when we just wanted to stay in. The last night we also spent time around the fireplace areas having some drinks and enjoying the evening. The cottages were comfortable - small but fine for the 4 of us. The shower was on the small side, as was the kitchen. But again - we made it work and they were clean and well stocked. Overall I would recommend Kokomo to anyone. It exceeded our expectations. The staff was friendly and accommodating, the place was beautiful and clean everywhere. Loved our trip!

An Island Gem.
What an amazing property! Private cottages make you feel like you’ve found your little spot of paradise. Weanie is a top notch professional and seems to appear out of nowhere ready to help with whatever you need. Dinner reservations? OK! Excursions? No problem. Spa appointments? She’s got you covered. Go see Melane at the restaurant where you will be treated like royalty with impeccable service and delicious cuisine. We were sad to leave but know exactly where to go when we come back.

BEAUTIFUL PEACEFUL CLEAN CHARMING AMAZING PRIVATE...
I Surprised my Fiance' for his bday and he was blown away. The cottage was PERFECT! Felt like home..Beds are cozy and extremely CLEAN...The kitchen was fully equipped. If your'e traveling with children, this is the best bang for your buck as everything is a bit pricey :)....Wenie is a sweetheart..She made sure we had everything that we needed from where to go, what to do, where to eat and how to get the best out of our Baecation. The FOOD omgooooooosh THE FOOD!! You don't have to leave the resort to eat tasty food. This place is clean, quiet and the privacy is unmatched! The pool area is beautiful. If you need to relax and get an amazing massage Kokomo is IT!!! I would advise you to rent a car, theres free parking. We explored the beautiful island and decided that we'll b back for our Honeymoon. IT'S PERFECT! Wenie, thank you for everything!!! You are a Gem.. Hopefully We'll see you when we return.

Nice hotel and we would stay here again
The service in the hotel was excellent .. the grounds of the hotel are beautiful and unique … the food at the restaurant n for dinner was great .. they have a shuttle that they call for you .. they have a private beach .. the pool area is orettt but small .. could be bigger .. the cabins are nice .. shuttle drivers nice as well

Perfect for family and secluded stay
There’s no night life here. Perfect for a quiet stay. Pool closes at 7pm. Get a rental to explore the island. Wenie was very responsive. The fried rice at WE cafe was my favorite. Go grocery shopping to save money on food. It’s very expensive to eat out on the island. The villas are all gated with access with your key card. My favorite is the landscaping at the resort.
