Best place of the island. Good service and a beautiful place to be. We have seen a lot with our rental car, but if we come back (and we will!) we will go to Kontiki Beach again. The room/ house was good, good housekeeping (friendly) and even the shower was really good!

This resort is awful! Not accommodating at all! We are here now! Checked in today! The room is not beachfront! They di not have washcloths and towels for showering! We were told they wouldn't have more til morning! We had to carry our own luggage to our room! We originally booked with Zoetry! Tried to venture out and not be confined by all inclusive! Welp, you get what you pay for! This place is complete TRASH!!!! DO NOT BOOK HERE!!!! Also, the poolside beds are filthy and need to be replaced!!!

Highly Recommend if traveling with kids.
Great! Place was beautiful. Amenities were incredible. We felt safe. Everything was very easy to get to / walk to which made it so much easier with two young kids to get food/go shopping/get to the beach etc. I traveled with my husband and two kids. Highly recommend.

Disappointing Experience
Disappointing Experience for $800 a Night – Not Worth the Price Our stay at this hotel was far from the luxury experience we expected for $800 per night. Unfortunately, we encountered multiple issues that significantly impacted our stay: Lighting Malfunction: On our first night, we had to sleep with the lights on due to a malfunction. Cold Showers: Multiple times, we were forced to take cold showers. Despite maintenance being sent four times, we never received any updates on what was done, whether the issue was resolved, or what the problem was. Lack of Cleanliness: The room was not properly cleaned, with noticeable dirty spots on the furniture. Poor Communication: Our VIP beach reservation was not communicated to the staff on the ground, causing unnecessary inconvenience. Minibar Issues: The minibar was not properly stocked, and unlocking it was more complicated than necessary. Daily Problems: Every day, a new issue arose, making it impossible to enjoy a relaxing stay. For a hotel of this caliber and price range, we expected far better service, communication, and maintenance. Unfortunately, this experience did not justify the cost. Also good to know is that multiple days a week there are beach parties which are so loud that you will be unable to sleep, also with earplugs, while its ungoing.

Kontiki Stay Feb 2025
Kontiki is situated on a beautiful Cabana beach and it has wonderfully manicured grounds You will feel like you are in a tropical paradise (you really are). Rooms are situated in small bungalows that house 4 suites and each suite has a generous terrace or a balcony for you to enjoy the grounds and many dip pools that intertwine the grounds. The Cabana beach with comfortable beach beds is just a step away as well as a restaurant and bars for food and drinks. There are beach parties on Friday, Sunday and Wednesday that last till midnight. If you don't like loud music, ask for a room away form the restaurant. I highly recommend Kontiki and look forward to going back. The only con: WiFI can be sporadic in the room and on the beach, and bring your own beach bag as the hotel stopped giving out one.
