Terrible hotel and staff. Avoid at all costs.
The staff showed no consideration for the safety of hotel guests, and their response to an accident onsite was truly appalling - making verbal assurances and completely reneging on them after the fact. I would avoid this specific hotel, and recommend going with one of several other properties nearby.

Great experience at this boutique hotel
This hotel is in a great location. Close to everything in Waikiki. Amazing staff who are very friendly and adorable, clean rooms! Our housekeeping kept our room so clean. It was impressive! I also loved the small touches like the beach bag souvenir and cute Laylow cups and chocolate bar. A nice touch. The restaurant was good, I had a beautiful breakfast every morning out on the outdoor area and the coffee bar was awesome. You had to buy coffee, it was not free in the lobby, but it was not overpriced and it was really good. They have 100% kona coffee so I didn’t mind that we had to purchase it, especially since the rooms were not overly expensive. Overall, a great experience at this little boutique hotel in the middle of the hustle and bustle. Fun tip- there’s a really popular udon noodle place, and a good seafood place called Paia right by the hotel. Check those out for some good local food!

Not bad at all
I stayed on the executive level from 11/11-11/15 2024 for my birthday. The water machine in the hallway on my floor and the lower level was down the entire week and they did not have any snacks. I paid extra for those perks and did not get any substitutions. In fact, when I asked for water she said their property does not provide it gratuitously but they would give us 2 complimentary bottles. ;/ They did not acknowledge my birthday. My favorite things about Marriott were a miss here. For example, I wanted to buy a coffee packet from the cafe at the bar for a gift but I had to wait 15 minutes for the attendant to come just to quote me a price of almost $9. Then, I requested a drink and she told me I had to wait for the bartender. Check in was a breeze. Afterwards, I ran in the shower and rushed downstairs for happy hour with 4 minutes to spare. The bartender was kind and the Mai tai was DELISH. They have live music EVERY night. Their gift shop is lovely. The merch is beautiful. I even bought a lei shaped car freshener to bring some of Hawaii back to DC. The daily activities are superb. I made a gorgeous lei with fresh orchids and we received frozen mangoes poolside. The other treat was given to every one at the pool except for me but I was too tired to complain. The pool is for lounging, not swimming. The gym is ok. The rooms were spacious and clean. Housekeeping cleaned our room EVERY day even when I did not put the sign to refresh on the door. I definitely left them a nice tip. The views from our balcony were breathtaking even with the tall buildings blocking a lot. The location is EVERYTHING. I borrowed a complimentary beach cruiser and it was the ride of a lifetime. Get there early because they only have 1 helmet. Guest services allowed me to do late checkout hassle free. I tried to send a complimentary post card but the sheen on the card was impossible to write on with my pen. The receptionist told me to bring the card downstairs to borrow his pen. :( I was too busy. Finally, at check out the receptionist gave me a hard time about replacing the card because I ruined it trying to write on it. She told me I had to wait for housekeeping to bring a new one. I waited in the lobby for 20 minutes until I finally left. I was never able to send my complimentary postcard to my elderly cousin. If you’re looking for a special touch and staff going the extra mile, you won’t find it here. If you’re looking for convenience and quick access, this place is it!

Beautiful property with outstanding staff!
We stayed for two nights and enjoyed our stay. This property is great for families because many of their rooms can accommodate 4 guests. From the moment we arrived Shawn the front desk was extremely kind and helpful. He provided an upgrade because of our Elite status to a beautiful room on a high floor because it was available. Absolutely excellent check-in and throughout our stay Shawn took great care of us even showing me around the property. Breakfast is very good. I like the patio you can eat on or inside and all the servers we had were very kind every morning! We even came back to have breakfast here one of the days we weren’t staying at this hotel because it was so good especially the avocado toast. Thank you to our servers unfortunately, I do not remember your names. Rita at the front desk also was great to visit with, made us feel special, and provided excellent service recovery. Casey not only helped when we first arrived at the front desk but also several mornings she made some of the best coffees at their coffee bar! Thanks for your big smile and the yummy drinks! This property is very special, definitely consider staying here on your next visit to Honolulu!

Great location, pool, service at reasonable prices
Second time staying here, this time on more than a layover. We spent two nights after visiting Kauai and love the rooms, the pool, the am cofffee, and the location close to many things. The outdoor seating by the bar and firepit are great - all staff are super friendly. Just a great place and reasonable price compared to other hotels.
