It’s ok!
We had a nice holiday here despite some negative comments we read beforehand. The food is good, the drinks are good, and most of the staff is friendly. The only downside was the bartender/waiter dude, who was often clueless and kept getting our orders wrong. Our room was kept tidy, and the housekeeping staff were very nice and friendly. The furniture is outdated, and the room in general looks a bit 'tired,' but most importantly, it was clean. Due to the storm, we had no hot water for two days. On the bright side, we didn’t see any cockroaches. The only major drawback was that our room was near the laundry room, so we could hear the dryer running loudly around the clock. The beach area is small but well-maintained. Just be aware of the Germans reserving sunbeds before sunrise! 😂

A week on the beach
Smaller hotel on a nice beach. Low shelf booze, decent draft beer. All inclusive food menu was ok. Next time I wouldn’t do all inclusive because these is a ton of good food near by at fair prices. Some staff give great service, some seemed to dislike their job. I’d return for the right price. The enjoyed the area and felt safe to walking around solo in a he evenings.

Sad, tired resort in beautiful beach
We purchased this trip through Vacation Express which was our first mistake. The second was trusting the feedback from the resort regarding their recovery from their most recent hurricane. This was our first time to Jamaica and probably our last. Pros: majority of the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Carrie Ann, our server and Mike, the beach attendant were outstanding. The location on the beach was stunning. Loved every inch of the beach and warm water. The bed was quite comfortable. House keeping kept us stocked with drinks. Cons: hotel is in very sad, tired shape. We stayed beachside but you can’t see or hear the beach from your room. The bathroom does not have AC but only a vented window with a screen over it. The smell from a non AC bathroom plus the bugs including mosquitos which come through the screen were terrible. Did I mention cockroaches!!! We had to leave our suitcases outside when we arrived home and send clothes to laundromat to avoid the potential to brings bugs into our home. Furniture was old, beat up and worn out. The food was mostly sub-par but majority of the places on the island in Negril area did not have very good food. The drinks and mixers were never right. Alcohol was cheap and coming out of unmarked bottles. There are no top shelf labels at this resort. The beach was great but chairs have seen better days. Worse part was the constant bombardment of pan handlers on the beach. From the time you got in your chair until you left. No matter how many times you said no they keep coming back. We had to take turns getting in the water to ensure our belongings were secure. Finally, the non stop smell of pot was not my thing. People are working and smoking! We crossed over to the sister resort which was in better shape but same issue with food and drinks. I will write a review of it too

Old and run down, full of crock roaches
It was horrible, they got two different sides, one on the beach frint and another building across the road, ww didn't expect that at all upon booking it wasn't clear that garden view was a building on the opposite side of the beach, anyway when we got to our rooms it was awful, the doors was old and falling apart with cracks and ac vents rusty and you could see between the doors even when it was shut, in the middle of the night around 2am i got up to used the bathroom and there behold crock roaches crawling around and crawling all over my things on the table, it wasso awfull i packed and leave as day was light, couldn't sleep.
