Never again

I don't write reviews but feel compelled to after our stay at this resort. Check in was fine, you have to pay for a lock box and also pay for wi fi ... not a big deal. Food was average plus overall, Buffett as good as a buffet gets. Pools and lounge availability ok. NOW the bad . This place is a variation of a time share scheme. They put you in an old outdated room that doesn't have hot water. We did not have warm water all week. We complained to the front desk to no avail. When we met with the sales people they promised us we would be moved to a better room with hot water. That was till we turned down the purchase, then the move was cancelled. We were not alone, we talked to several people who didn't have hot water. Some had been moved three times and in some cases their rooms were worse after the move. Poor air conditioning musty damp rooms, televisions that either didn't work or were like watching through a Manitoba snow storm were the norm. If they are trying to promote a resort you would think they would want happy satisfied guests..... We will never visit a lifestyles resort again

Amazing winter get away.

This was an amazing vacation! We stayed in a Villa! With the all inclusive we had a chef who made us breakfast every morning. A private pool just for us and dinner out every night. The peacock picture is one on the 3-4 that are roaming the resort. The resort is quite large with many restaurants to visit and the resort offers escursions into town as well as Ocean World, golfing and water craft rentals.

Book it-don’t listen to the bad reviews!

Great resort! Food was fantastic, something for everyone. The kids had lots of choices and my picky eater even tried some new foods that looked good! We liked how we could go to Confesi Palm and eat there, the Pearl buffet was delicious, we only went for lunch one day. We were in the first building. It was outdated but nothing we weren’t used to as we usually visit Cuba. I did note that the pool was right outside our balcony and it was loud! And at night the pool bar was busy and loud, entertainment was there until about 9:00 as well. If you like quiet or can’t sleep through things like that request a room away from that area. If you go for all inclusive and you’re not a member you can only visit the VIP beach area, not the one that says exclusive for members. Once we located the area we could go we enjoyed the beds and the service we received. You can even order lunch there and they deliver to your bed. Sushi was great! We enjoyed many virgin drinks like strawberry daiquiris, mudslides, pinacolada. The staff was great and friendly. There is photographers right on site you can hire and get family photos or whatever you like. We took advantage of that! They even had monkey and a parrot you could get a photo with. The maid we had was fantastic! She asked if we needed service and if we didn’t we requested beverages and we got them. The beach was rough, the kids loved riding the waves. The sand itself was bit dirty bc it is a public beach, there were peddlers and people trying to get you to go to their store. Not many beach chairs, but the kids loved it. The patio door gave us some troubles but was pretty good once we all found the technique to opening it. Entertainment was fantastic! Great shows at the Colosseum.

Anniversary Get Away

I had an absolutely wonderful stay and am already looking forward to returning with my entire family. Every aspect of my experience was exceptional, particularly the entertainment. The performances were truly outstanding, keeping me thoroughly engaged and entertained throughout my visit. I made it a point to attend every show and took full advantage of the many activities offered at the resort. From start to finish, my time here was filled with excitement and enjoyment, making it a destination I am eager to revisit with my loved ones.

Outdated Resort, Dirty, Stay Away!

This resort is dirty and outdated, do not go off the pictures on the website because unless you are at the very top tier of ownership you will not stay in accommodations as seen on the website. Our villa was without water daily, we had to call and wait for someone to “turn it back on”and when the water was working we never had hot water. The place is so dirty, we couldn’t use our air conditioner because it was full of mold and it leaked water not to mention the on/off switch was hanging off the wall. Bugs everywhere, not bed bugs that I could tell but they claim they spray, I didnt see that happen once. Food was not great, our best meal was at the brazillian steak house. Liquor was low level at pretty much all the bars/restaurants. The entertainment was so corny and not even worth the time Sadly, the staff and management do not care, they are not helpful especially when they already have your money.
