Omar was great at the bar. We were there for two birthdays and he did something fun for us each day he was there. Drinks were fun and he was super friendly. We had a great time!! We also had a great time on the beach. We did rent cabanas and it was worth it.

Best Trip Ever!
We had the most wonderful week at Live Aqua February 2-9. It was our first visit to this resort, but will certainly not be our last! Check in was seamless, Luis was wonderful. Our butlers Rodrigo and Romero were very attentive to our every need. Some shoutouts to special staff members who made our stay so enjoyable: Eli at the swim up/swing bar (super attentive and always greeted us by name which we appreciated), Erika at the AKA bar, Mauricio also at AKA (made delicious espresso martinis), Hector at the cabana station (always smiling and helpful), and Ricky Ricardo on the entertainment team (kept things hopping, very lively and fun). The food was excellent, we enjoyed all the restaurants but our favorite (that we went to twice) was MB. Get the habanero soup in the bread bowl, delicious! They also have an excellent piano player playing during dinner that we really enjoyed. We upgraded to the Aqua Club Suite on our third day there and would highly recommend. Our butlers took care of dinner reservations and anything else we might need. Also, included is a daily cabana (either on beach or by the pools) which includes a daily 20 minute foot massage which I looked forward to every day. As far as the pools, one main reason we chose this resort was for the heated pools. We like to go away in the winter but have found other resorts don’t heat their pools and the older I get, the less tolerance I have for cold water. The pools had varying temperatures but were all heated and very pleasant. I always bring along an inflatable pool float (Amazon) which really makes the pools even more enjoyable. The beach is absolutely breathtaking, white soft sand and gorgeous blue water. Book this resort now, you will not be disappointed!

Our favorite resort! We have been 8 times and counting!
Paradise! Honestly this place has amazing food and all of the emenities, but our favorite part is the people that are employed there. They have become family. From Rodrigo and Edouard at Cabanas to Romero and Rodrigo our buttlers. Angel's room service was the best. Marysol and Ceaser waited on us at cabanas and they were terrific! Nice seeing Roy at MB and Guiermo at Aqua Club is a magic drink maker and great guy. We always meet new friends and have the most relaxing time.

Spectacular hotel experience with a stunning view! 🌅
During our 4-day stay, my boyfriend and I were utterly, and pleasantly, surprised by the property's first-class hospitality and how staff were trained to assist guests in every possible way. We took advantage of the amenities and had so much fun playing tennis, sunbathing, and swimming in various pools. Lastly, we want to give a shoutout to Marco! The smoothies we had were a core memory for our stay and helped keep our diet a bit more balanced from overeating! Thank you Marco, your energy is infectious. We hope to come back!

It’s worth it!!
This is our 6th time at Live Aqua. We hadn’t been back for 6 years and once again it didn’t disappoint. It is super clean, the food is good, and the staff is amazing. Alphonso was our house keeper and he was meticulous in his duties. He went out of his way to accommodate our schedule and anything else we needed. He was so personable and worked very hard to make us comfortable. Our butler Eladio, had excellent people skills and would make any arrangements we needed.He always came to wherever we happened to be and made sure everything was right. When he was off for the day Maggie stepped right into position and took great care.I have to mention these people because they all made a big difference.Edgar actually took us to a close grocery store on a day that was overcast so we saved the cost of a taxi. On top of that he did make sure we received a small gift for our granddaughter.My massages really helped alleviate the chronic neck pain that has been a constant companion. The place itself is beautiful with a lovely fragrance constantly wafting thru the air. We loved all of our wait staff and enjoyed our meals in every restaurant. We did pay an up charge so I could get a lobster tail and it was double the size of a usual one plus, it came not only with butter, but other sauces as well. Ashley deserves a shout out for making us feel so very welcome. We miss it already. It’s a great vacation experience, don’t settle for the other places.
