Coming back to Live Aqua for our 4th visit with friends did not disappoint and John our pool waiter, made our visit amazing! He is always so attentive, caring, and goes out of his way to take care of us! We love visiting LA and seeing John. He is the best!

There’s a reason we keep coming back
We’ve stayed at Live Aqua 4 times (and counting), more than any other resort in Cancun. All of our stays we paid for club level, so keep that in mind as you read my review. Part of the reason we stay at club level is because it comes with a cabana and we don’t have to scramble for seats at the pool or beach. Isaias was our primary butler and we really enjoyed spending time with him and sharing stories. He was very personable, attentive and helpful. Best Butler service we’ve ever had at any resort. Marisol was our main server for our Cabana and she made sure we had plenty of water, kept refilling our ice bucket and made sure we were well cared for. The food Is consistently delicious. Every restaurant we ate at had amazing food, great presentation and excellent service. The drinks were all perfectly done and well balanced. It was good to see Guillermo (I hope I spelled his name right) again in the Aqua lounge. He was professional, yet personable and a positive addition to everything that makes us love Live Aqua. We’ve been to a lot of resorts in Cancun. Only one other resort made us want to go back, and we’ve been to that other resort twice. But each time we stay at Live Aqua, we end up planning our next visit. For us, Live Aqua is perfect.

Live Aqua Resort Cancun is the best!
This resort is the best! Everyone is so nice and go that extra mile! Maggie and Eladio were our butlers, and especially Maggie (who worked during the day), was the kindest, sweet, and hardworking person there. We will be requesting her next year! Hector was our favorite bartender! He is personable, and has so much knowledge about tequila and mixed drinks! AKA bar was the only bar we frequented, because of him! Lastly, our friend Marco, the smoothie maker, feels like family. He is always smiling and makes the best smoothies ever! Bottom line, these people made our trip perfect. We can’t wait to see them next year!

Highly recommend!
I’ve visited different 5star hotels here in Cancun, and I highly recommend this hotel! I’m Mexican and SUPER picky with food (not trying to brag, but my cooking is delicious, so my expectations for a 5star hotel is always high). The restaurants are delicious, but my favorite was MB and Azur (Russel was so friendly and he even did a beautiful sand birthday sign for my birthday, highly appreciated). Big thanks to the sushi station chef, I ordered shrimp tempuras every night and I loved it! The only restaurant that I wouldn’t recommend trying is Sea Corner, the food is bland, instead go to Azur for lunch. I wished the DJ played more Latin music instead of the same old American playlist that most hotels here in Cancun play, I mean, we are in Mexico after all (if you ask for a specific song he will play it though, but pretty much every night theres 95% old American songs). I spent 6 days in this hotel (suite) celebrating my birthday with my husband and I loved it, there wasn’t one single day that I didn’t have a birthday surprise by the staff. Employees are SUPER nice, Alejandra, Monica, Francisco, Russel, Neil, thank you! 🙏🏼

Live aqua does not disappoint!
This was our 7th girls trip at Live Aqua and it did not disappoint! We were asked by a couple” what keeps you coming back to LA.” Honestly, it’s the hard working staff!! These people have become family and that is why they say “welcome home”. Being welcomed by Ashley Salvador Garcia and having one of the best drinks by Guillermo in the Aqua Club we were off to a great start! Off we went to see John (Jonathan Gonzales) by the pool. We had the pleasure of having John bring us drinks all week. We never had an empty drink! He runs his but off !! And not only does he run his but off but he is so entertaining and ALWAYS has a smile on his face! He is such a sweetheart! Let’s talk food….Chef Willian Canul can I just say WOW!! Such a talented Chef! He puts so much love and attention in serving you such delicious & beautiful created meals! We had the pleasure of Roy serving us at MB which is always such a pleasure! Alfredo Santamaria you run a tight ship! Your employees go above and beyond! They are so caring and they really care about the guests well being and it shows! The grounds are impeccable, the rooms are spotless, the pools and beaches look great! Can’t wait to come back with our husbands in February for our “8th couple trip!”
