Good w an opportunity to improve and become excellent.
Beautiful, well set hotel. Peaceful, integrated w nature. Food quality doesn't hold to the standards of the place though the ingredients do, they need an executive chef in residence. Bars, beach, wellness, people kindness exceeded our expectations. Improving food it'd be a top experience.

Haters hate! Amazing place
First time at Cayo. Already booked for March. Anybody that doesnt give a five is a plant from another property. Cant wait to get back. Stayed on the top floor with a metal roof which was awesome even though we had a rain out week. Place was still so nice and people were super sweet. Lobster one night and fillet the next. Bothe excellent! Hate saying its so good so y’all blow up this place but i couldn’t stand seeing the fake haters. Cayo is all that!

Not sure if we would come back a 3rd time
Came here when it 1st opened in 2023. Back for a 2nd visit in December 2024. This place is gorgeous. Setting is incredible. Decor is fabulous. Food is really amazing. Esp. Compared to *any* all inclusive resort anywhere. Did expect better service as a returning patron. Treated poorly when it came to getting a “reservation” at any restaurant. Which was always ridiculous and absurd as a guest at the hotel spending $20,000 in 8 days. The idea that eating dinner was always problematic is insane and created stress for us as a family of only 3 people! Restaurants were always empty and we were always told we must “hurry and eat quickly” before other guests that ultimately never came. They need to stop with the B.S. with the restaurant situation. Completely ruining the 5 star experience we are ALL paying for. And forget the concept of the “ambassador”. They hardly ever respond to your needs. And when they do - they don’t actually secure any requests you have. We were told they had secured reservations for 4-5 different things for us and then when we turned up to said event - told “you have no booking”. Most requests are completely ignored. The “ambassador” idea is a complete failure - so don’t expect it to work. On the fence if we would come back a 3rd time after spending $30,000 for 2 stays for just 3 of us. It is an absolutely gorgeous setting. What ruins the experience, overall, is the fact that the restaurant treatment is unnecessarily problematic and off-putting for no reason. And the “ambassador” concept / service is a complete failure.

Absolute Gem 10/10
Truly the best vacation we've ever had. This resort is an absolute gem. We've traveled all over the DR, and Cayo is a complete stand-alone. Nothing else compares. The beaches, the pools, the grounds, the staff - All over-the-top. The cleanest resort we've ever seen - a true paradise. Excellent food, accommodating for our 4 kids – The plunge pool family suites are huge. No swim-up bars, No nightclub, this isn’t a “party” resort where you need to stand like cattle in line for a buffet. No loud music drowning out conversations. No running down to put a towel on a chair to “save it” – None of that – Cayo Levantado is elegant and refined. It was the first vacation where we didn’t have any “groundhog” day effect. We wish we stayed longer. 10/10 on all fronts. We had an amazing time. Andrea & Chris – Toronto Canada

Next Level
From start to finish it was a fabulous holiday at a one of a kind property! The physical nature of the island is serene, peaceful and picturesque. These physical attributes of the island are elevated by the resort itself offering several unique room styles with unparalleled views and/or privacy. The beach, bars, restaurants and even room service elevates the experience yet again. The food and beverage offering was exceptional and far above what you might expect from an all inclusive resort. For comparison they far exceeded that of sanctuary cap cana, the excellence brands or secrets brands we have tried in Punta Cana. The topper is the truly professional staff that work very hard to ensure the ultimate experience. Keddy was seemingly everywhere all the time offering help with everything from cart rides to luggage and was so kind to our group. Bartenders Juan, Jose and Santa were very engaging and really went above and beyond for our group and showed extra patience when practicing our Spanish. The team at the front desk were so eager to please and our Ambassador Adrian was super responsive and almost seamed to know what we needed before we did. He looked after our group of 6 wonderfully. Housekeeping at CLR was outstanding. Our room was genuinely spotless, and kept that way through our one week stay. The common areas were just as clean as were the restaurants. Not a spot on a glass or piece of cutlery. If you prioritize a quiet peaceful vacation with stunning accommodations and next level food and beverage offerings CLR will exceed your expectations. Add to this almost personalized activities at Yuburta with Floorana or Eric at the gym and there is more than enough activities to keep you busy if that’s more your style. Congratulations CLR Team!
