Jan 01, 2025Wonderful Resort for People with Celiac/Food Allergies
I just returned from a family vacation at Majestic Elegance Costa Mujeres. We had an incredible holiday! The beach was beautiful and the food was wonderful! I would especially like to thank Joy, an allergy chef, who ensured that my daughter with Celiac was able to have a wide selection of delicious, gluten free meals. I highly recommend this resort, especially for people with Celiac or other food allergies.

There are so wonderful services and people who work there are always respectfully and if u need any questions or need help and don’t hesitate to asking them. Also i suggest anyone to go this place to stay. There have everything what u need for wedding, party or etc. 😊

Dec 30, 2024DO NOT STAY HERE – SAFETY AND SERVICE ARE A JOKE!
We stayed at Majestic Elegance during Christmas Week 2024, and it was a nightmare. Members of the housekeeping and guest services staff STOLE a credit card from our room, which was used to rack up over $1,500 in unauthorized purchases on a third-party service called Clip. We immediately reported it to the hotel after the bank alerted us about the charges. The hotel launched an "investigation" where they interviewed staff who accessed our room, but let’s be honest—no one is going to admit to stealing, especially when their job is on the line. The investigation didn’t help us at all, and we were told it was likely our fault for losing the card, despite never leaving the resort. We had kept everything secure, and my husband’s wallet had been stored in luggage since arriving, as we only needed passports for ID. The hotel also claimed that staff is patted down before entering the building, but who knows what they could hide in their shoes, plastic lanyard or undergarments? Management’s response was terrible. We spoke to various managers, including the GM, who were all defensive and dismissive, in resolving the issue. Instead of offering empathy, they were more upset by our accusations. We were promised a resolution within 48 hours, but after multiple follow-ups, we received no updates. When we checked out, there was no update on record (if there was one) of our investigation. We were told a manager would reach out that morning but we also emailed and no reply. Very shady behavior, almost as if it’s tolerated here because they can just cover for them. The resort’s policies are designed to protect them, not their guests. They claim to have had no theft incidents in the past 2-3 years, but I found multiple reports and reviews of theft on travel sites, including instances involving those who uses their safes. The whole situation left us feeling unsafe, uncomfortable, and completely unsupported. As for the resort itself, it was far from the luxury experience we expected. Despite being a "new" resort, it felt rundown, with significant erosion in showers, tubs (indoor and outdoor), and various maintenance issues. The property grounds could use better care, and construction was ongoing during our stay, making it less than relaxing. Food quality was mediocre at best. The buffets were limited, and you often had to wait for a real meal until dinner. While we enjoyed the hibachi and French restaurants, the Mexican restaurant was just okay, and desserts across the board were disappointing, except for the ice cream stand outdoors. Drinks were good, but beach service was hit-or-miss—better with tips, but slower without. We had an amazing experience at TRS last year and wish we’d gone back instead of wasting our time here. This resort’s poor management, dishonest staff, and subpar facilities made it a completely disappointing vacation. We will NEVER return and strongly advise you to avoid Majestic Elegance if you value your safety and belongings.

10/10 Experience
We had an amazing time during our stay! Our Butlers, Aaron and Mauricio were so helpful with making reservations, answering any questions we had and making our honeymoon and birthday celebrations special. The activity staff were fantastic, especially Tino, who always brought energy and fun to the activities. Misael, the bartender by the infinity pool, was incredible; his drinks were always on point. Despite seeing mixed reviews about the food beforehand, we had no complaints. Even my wife, who’s a picky eater, enjoyed everything she tried. We definitely hope to return in the future!

Majestic Family Vacation
This resort is amazing. From the moment we arrived until our departure six days later was an amazing experience. We chose to celebrate Christmas in Cancun and our wonderful travel agent recommended Majestic in Costa Mujeres and it didn’t disappoint. The staff was amazing, from our butlers: Annie and Omar, to our pool and beach attendants: Angel, Cauchi, Samuel, Moises to our favorite waiter Filiberto at the Mexican restaurant, all were attentive, catering to our every need. The facilities are beautiful, clean and well cared for. You can tell everyone there takes pride in their work, regardless of their role.they have diversity in food and very well prepared and something for everyone. My husband and I could relax and lounge by the beach and pool and our 20, 23 year old son’s and girlfriend had fun in the evening. We will definitely be back!
