This is the one you've been searching for

*If you are having any doubts about this place after reading reviews, OR if you are trying to decide from the overwhelming amount of resorts in Punta Cana which one to choose, PLEASE READ THIS REVIEW! We understand and we were right where you’re feeling too, and we want to provide peace of mind for you!* Where do we even start with how absolutely AMAZING this place is? We went here on our honeymoon (which coincided with my birthday) in late March 2025, and we were not disappointed in the slightest. We read some negative reviews about cleanliness, food quality, and the overall experience that made us question initially if we chose right, but we still felt that for the price and offerings that Majestic Mirage was worth the risk. And man, it sure was. Having never been to an all-inclusive resort before, we were not quite sure what to expect, but we felt like royalty the entire time. The staff all went out of their way to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. A huge shoutout to Wender our butler, the best of the best, who went out of his way to decorate our room himself as a surprise to us for my birthday and our honeymoon! Ramon the beach and poolside waiter was so friendly and talkative too, as was Jimi the bartender. Carlos “Chocolaté” was amazing and engaging as well. As a whole, it was evident that the staff all cared so much about making sure everyone felt as tended to and at home as they could. We felt like family. The food was out of this world. Good-sized portions, stunning presentation, tons of variety with so many restaurants and cuisine types to choose from, and as much food and drinks as you’d like. My wife and I love food and are not very picky, and we were just blown away. We did not have one bad or even “okay” meal, so unless you’re a complete food snob, there is something delicious for everybody here! The cleanliness of the resort, our room, the pool, and the beach were literally so good that I remarked multiple times during the trip how impressive it is how everything is tended to so well. Housekeeping came every day and workers were constantly making improvements to the resort daily. It was immaculate. And let’s not forget the amenities! Activities throughout the day like volleyball, dancing, yoga, and nightly shows; poolside and beachside bars; tennis and pickleball courts; a spa (extra $$ but well worth it); onsite souvenir shops; and so much more. Not to mention, the weather was spectacular all week too! (Tips and tricks included further down in this review) I could go on and on because this place just blew our minds. We cannot find even a small complaint to make about it, especially for the price and the quality of the entire experience. This was quite literally paradise. So in short, if you have ANY apprehensions about coming to Majestic Mirage, put those to rest right now. This place is what you’ve been looking for. Book it. You will not regret staying here. We cannot wait to come back someday! TIPS AND TRICKS: 1. Bring around $150-$200 in cash for tips per week that you stay (don’t worry about converting, USD are fine!). The staff does not expect tips nor make you feel bad if you don’t tip since it isn’t mandatory, but being a kind human is not a hard thing to do and goes a long way to acknowledge the quality of goods and service that the staff provides. Your room has a safe in it so no worries about just bringing $20-$30 per day on hand with you and leaving the rest back in the room. 2. Pack a reusable water bottle AND a reusable travel mug. That way you will always have water that you can fill up anywhere at the resort from the plentiful water bottle stations, but you can also have a separate dedicated drink mug too. You can bring the drink mug up to any bar and they’ll put whatever you order into your own mug! 3. Don’t forget to bring reusable straws either, because the DR does not have any nor provide any to keep down on waste. 4. If you want a daybed on the beach, I’d recommend getting there as early as possible to reserve one by 8am or 9am. They fill up fast and there is still plenty of seating and shaded areas, but you can’t beat a beach daybed if you’re willing to get up early for it! 5. The “main pool” is the one with the volleyball net right by the sizable bar towards the middle of the resort. That is where a lot of the activities happen. 6. Majestic Mirage has its own private fitness center in the main building. Use this rather than the shared gym on Majestic Elegance’s property next door. 7. If you want to do excursions or extras, book through the GoMajestic office located in the main building where you check in. Kayaking, boat rides, tours, and other stuff costs extra but they have some unbeatable prices there and are not sketchy at all since they are all affiliated with Majestic and not some third party. 8. If you are celebrating your anniversary, honeymoon, or birthday during this trip like we were, let the staff know ahead of time before you arrive! You’ll get some complimentary surprises like a romantic beachside dinner, room decor, complimentary champagne and liquor in your room upon arrival, and more! 9. Reservations are mandatory for the French restaurant and for the Hibachi experience at the Japanese restaurant (otherwise you can just walk into the Japanese restaurant if you don’t want Hibachi). Make sure you book those reservations early in your week since reservations are based on first come, first served basis/availability. 10. If you’re a guy, bring long pants and closed shoes, as well as a semi-formal button down shirt or Hawaiian shirt, for dinner at French or Italian. If you’re a girl, bring a dress. They will not let you in to these 2 restaurants for dinner otherwise if you don’t fit the dress code. 11. The Dirty Monkey was our top ranked drink, but the Coco Loco is also incredible. Ask other people what they are drinking if something looks good to you. It’s worth the humility to discover everything this place has to offer! 12. The Cafe has more than just coffee. Try the milkshakes, especially the spiked mint one but with chocolate ice cream! 13. The Mirage Clubs all have menus in addition to their buffet offerings. Just ask an attendant!

Majestic Mirage we will be back!!!

Amazing anniversary trip!! Beginning with transportation, we booked with the resorts service, Go Majestic. Booking transportation was very easy and communication was clear and efficient. For $90 round-trip for two, the vehicle was just for us. We appreciate the manager reaching out to us the day prior to confirm where we should meet and sent a picture to know who to look for. Everything went very smoothly and the vehicle had AC and was clean. One thing to know is once you arrive to the airport go straight to the desk indicated, desk 12 is right outside the airport doors so just keep walking or you will have people haggling you. From PUJ to the resort it’s about 30 minutes. Very easy and smooth ride. Upon arriving to the resort , it’s beautiful. Very clean, open, bright and definitely a luxury feel. It’s not your typical check-in experience where you have to stand in line and wait for the next person available, they escort you to a seating area and offer refreshments, snacks, and you sit and meet with someone to check you in. We waited for our butler to come who escorted us to our room. We booked through Expedia a king suite with a second floor terrace with a jacuzzi. The room was beautiful, we had indicated it was our anniversary and there was a banner on our door saying happy anniversary, which is very thoughtful. There was a cute tote bag along with two branded baseball caps on the bed which was also very nice. And the room is also stocked with complementary liquor and soda and water and juices. We did experience an issue in the room where the jacuzzi was not able to be used and as soon as we brought it up with the manager, she quickly made sure another room was made available to us and ensured that everything was perfect. Her name is Marta Aliaga, and we are so happy we had the great pleasure of meeting her, she came all the way to the pool to meet us and ensured we were nothing less than happy with our room and the rest of our stay. It was really refreshing to meet someone who genuinely cares, and the Majestic brand has a wonderful representative on their team of top notch customer service. Our butler was also incredible and we are so grateful to her as she treated us like family, we even had her meet our family back home over facetime 😂❤️ All of the staff treated us like family and made our stay so special and nice. Overall, the food is kind of typical of an all inclusive, we didn’t try any specialty restaurants but the ones included were not bad, just average.. but we really enjoyed the buffet and having the option of meat and fish cooked right on the spot to our liking, and that is where we ate most of our meals because we enjoyed it so much. The abundance of food and drink is without saying, and there are options for everyone at literally ANY time. We loved the pool, some people prefer one big pool with lots of activities but we really enjoyed having privacy and not feeling overcrowded. We also love that the cabanas are free to use. There’s even free sunscreen available where you pick up towels. The beach was also very nice, but we found ourselves mostly at the pool. The nightly entertainment is great, our favorite was the Michael Jackson show. Incredible. We loved sitting out on the terrace with the stringy lights and a drink, it really was such a beautiful week and it was the first time we actually did not want to come back home from vacation. We’ve been to resorts where you just really miss your bed or even the food back home, but it really was such a lovely stay!! We have told our family and friends about the mirage and we can’t wait to return. We would definitely recommend this resort to anyone looking for a peaceful, relaxing, and beautiful vacation.

    30 birthday trip

My boyfriend James and I attended Majestic Mirage for my 30th birthday. We stayed at the Cancun location, so we knew it was a great resort. The resort has two other locations within walking distance. The casino and nightclub were fun to check out late at night. I liked how the resorts had reasonably priced gift shops available on-site. The staff was excellent! Omar, my butler, made sure our stay was everything we imagined. Jamie made sure our minibar was stocked every day. Horace, Olga, Jency, Renso, Alejandro, and many others were very welcoming at every restaurant we visited and whenever they saw us on the resort. On my birthday, they sang "Happy Birthday" to me as a big group. It was the best! Willy, Kevin, and Luis were excellent in the photo department. My boyfriend and I took phenomenal pictures on my birthday. Mayelin was always somewhere greeting us. If she didn’t understand me, we always found a way to communicate. I will be returning! Thank you all for making my 30th birthday unforgettable!

    Majestic mirage

Clean and pretty proper for the most part. Comfy beds but not comfy pillows. Rosario was our butler and was on top of any need we had big or small. He was kind and funny! All of the staff seemed happy and wanting to make our experience great. Happy with our choice
