    9 Doors Japanese restaurant is located on the ground floor of the lobby and is divided into the sushi bar and Teppanyaki area. In the Sushi Bar you will find an excellent and elaborate selection of sushi and 8 Teppanyakis, with capacity for 10 people and six sittings per day, you can have a real experience of show cooking whilst enjoying Japanese cuisine.

    Table Reservation are required for teppanyaki. No reservation required for the Sushi Bar.

    In a typically Italian atmosphere, the restaurant Il Botaccio offers a dinner service with the best and most representative dishes of Italian cuisine. In addition, during the morning and midday, Il Botaccio opens its doors to Elegance Club customers to serve breakfast and for an a la carte lunch. Restaurant will remain open for breakfast and lunch, exclusively for guests staying at the Elegance Club (Adults only 18+ section).

    Great week!

    I really liked the resort. Swim up room was nice and spacious. Service was fantastic. Shout out to my people Yanery....aka chica bonita (lower lobby bar), Ann Maria (outside bar), Penny (poolside) and Juan (swim up bar). They kept my orange bubba cup overflowing! Buffet could be improved, but that would be my only minor knock. The other restaurants were great.

    Happy Vacation!

    Run, don't walk to book yourselves a vacation at this wonderful hotel. Recently stayed at the Majestic Elegance in the Adults only section. Beautiful hotel grounds that are constantly maintained, food above average at the restaurants, wonderful daily entertainment - both during the day & in the evenings and the best beachfront. A few shoutouts to some very special employees who made our trip the best. Our butler, Oswaldy Guerrero, gave exceptional service. He truly made was a big part of making our stay wonderful. (yes! in adults only section you have your own butler who takes care of everything for you - def worth the extra $$s) To our beach team who couldn't do enough for us down on the" Adults only" beach everyday. Joel & Jesus who started our days off with big smiles, a warm welcome and fluffy towels - Jesus even had our lounges set up for us in the am. Service over the top! Our brilliant ladies bar team: Maxima, (Best bartender) & Anyelique along with Maridalia who were so very attentive and even remembered the drinks we preferred. Love these ladies! Contrary to other reviews here, we had our best meal at the Gourmand Restaurant, (at times reviewed here as the French restaurant.) It serves gourmet food. We had a great "duck" meal (kudos to the chef) with Oscar & Wander doing a great job of attending us that eve. The Japanese restaurant was delicious - we did hibachi - kudos to our chef Luis for his acrobatics & great food along with his asst, Pedro Wilkins who couldn't do enough for us. What a fun eve! To our two favorite hostesses: Leila at Flavours Buffet rest. & Vanessa who hosted at Sea & See/Japanese rest. These two ladies are super smiley, warm and enthusiastic. Wonderful ambassadors for this hotel. The hotel has a good thing going - highly recommend it. We met other guests who visit annually - we now understand why. Last comments: bring your mug for hot & cold drinks, clips to hold your towel down on your beach chair - it gets a little windy. I do want to mention we encountered Sargassum (massive seaweed) which is occurring all over Mexico and the Caribbean beaches. We did have some float in but the hotel staff kept the beach clean. Swimming was unaffected as we walked a short distance where it was clear to go swimming. We only had one day of sargassum - it moved on the other days. Dont let this deter you from vacationing at this hotel. They have much to offer and go for the Adults only. The service is excellent and access to private areas well worth it. Happy vacationing!

    Thank you to Richard at the hotel and Ricardo and Angelina on the beach. These three made our trip memorable. Their kindness will not be forgotten. This is a beautiful place to stay with many entertainment and restaurant options. We loved the hibachi and ate there twice.

    Great service!

    Excellent service, food and atmosphere. The staff is exceptional and friendly. Ismael, the pool bartender, was fun, friendly and attentive! We will be back to see him again! Our Butler, Osvaldy was so helpful and thoughtful. They made my birthday memorable

    Wonder experience at Majestic Elegance!

    My family stayed at the Majestic Elegance (March 18-23). My husband and I enjoyed to offerings in the adults only club suite and we had a junior suite on the family side for our children (17, & 20). The club suites offer a butler service. Our butler Peter was amazing! He not only made sure we were taken care of; he also insured our children were comfortable. Peter is hard working and dedicated to his job. He checked in on us daily, made reservations, shared stories of his country, laughed and made us feel at home. The entire staff at Majestic Elegance are unmatched. From before the sun rises to after it sets, every employee is working hard to make sure you have the best island experience. We especially are grateful for the culinary staff. Traveling with a child with severe food allergies can be taxing, We made sure to bring food allergy cards written in Spanish to help with communication to give to our hosts, servers or chef. They went above and beyond to prepare or provide guidance as to what could be ingested and what we should steer clear of. All in all, this is a beautiful, inviting, and relaxing island paradise filled with the kindest and friendliest islanders you’ll ever meet. Embrace their culture, attempt to speak their language, and they will show you how much pride they have in being Dominican and make you feel like you’re one of the family!
