Soooo relaxing!
Manchebo is lovely! The open-air lobby is so beautiful and calming when you arrive. The staff greet you warmly and they are very prompt and professional. The room is comfy, not very big, but nice. And the bed is very comfy, which is soooo important to me! The beach is gorgeous and the way they have the palapas set up is very nice as you have some distance between other people. The water is a little bit more choppy here than other parts of Eagle Beach or Palm Beach, but it is still gorgeous and the water is sublime. The beach itself was not very crowded. The spa was very nice too. The massage was super-duper relaxing. The food was good, not great, but consistently good. I have to say that the ceviche at Ike's was fantastic. And they have good rum at the bar, also important to me. I love that they have a room in the lobby that is air-conditioned and it has a TV and shower so if your flight is way after check out you can spend more time on the beach and then go there to shower and change before you leave. The whole place is just incredibly peaceful and relaxing --- the land of no shoes and wearing a bikini all day ---- and very friendly people!

Super nice hotel only staff needs training
Very nice hotel, next to beach, room is perfect, bed sleeps well, bathroom perfect, beach very nice, only some staff are not happy with there work seems to be. Not all are happy, No late check out... Looks a little overprice and on each barticket or else service charge so you already did tip even you do not like this, if you give tip it is because you are happy with the service and now you are charged. Only thing location is very good, nice to walk over the beach and all service on the beach is excellent.

Special Place
Everything about Manchebo is so very special! We love the casualness, peace and quiet and relaxation. Perfect for watching sunsets!

Absolutely stellar stay!
Our first visit - for five nights. Great location, service, room, food, etc etc etc. Nice and quiet. The palapas ("Tiki Huts") were placed well apart so you didn't hear your neighbors much. Didn't hear a boom box the entire time. We made reservations for next year while we were there. If you are the yell and scream and boogieing with a boom box type you won't like it, but if you want a relaxing lay at the beach with some excursions this place is perfect.
