Clients can pre-reserve their dinner reservations for the specialty restaurants prior to their arrival at the hotel by emailing Chantal Ayala at restaurant@marival.com.mx. Reservations must be made 7 days prior to arrival. No reservations will be taken prior to or after. No reservations will be accepted for December 24-January 2 each year. Reservations apply to a maximum of 8 persons. Any group larger than 8 may still contact Ms. Ayala for special arrangements.
Some restaurants may only operate on select schedules. Some restaurants may require reservations and expect appropriate dress. Consult the hotel upon arrival for hours of operation, reservation policies and dress codes.

It’s super important to me to try to maintain my fitness on vacation. I was so excited that this resort offered Zumba and aqua zumba, as I do those activities at home. Madison from NRG 2 GO was an exceptional instructor. She was tuned into the specific needs of the class, as there were a variety of abilities and ages. It was a a blast!

Wonderful stay!
A wonderful week away with family. Marcos was the most attentive server, whether it was on the beach or at the Capriccio beachside restaurant. The pools were nice and warm, the beach nicely looked after, and we had everything we needed. Can’t wait to come back in 2026!

Fabulous
Great hotel! Fabulous food great service! A shout out to Dalia in bar Volare great fast friendly service. Also Juan in the pool area had a great time playing black jack in the pool I will definitely return and I highly recommend!🥰 ….,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Feb 18, 2025Amazing for families with kids!
Family friendly resort! A great size, friendly staff, and SO much to do. The entertainment staff go above and beyond to create memorable events for the guests. The beach was great for boogie boarding & jumping the waves, the pools were all warm (options for kids pool, FUN pool, quieter pool, and adult only), the grounds were beautiful, and the rooms were spacious. Pros: Family friendly Kids club - big thanks to Adrianna and Ricardo for the super fun events. Our kids 7 & 10 loved their activities. Be sure to check the schedule right away, as my kids LOVED the pirate morning, making bracelets, croquet, etc! Lots to do- you will never be bored! (teen club, kids club, bingo by the pool, giant pool party, Mexican night with amazing entertainment, sunset shows, nightly shows, mini golf, tennis, biking, etc etc!) Snack La Bamba spot for lunch was beautiful- Leonardo and Belam treated us like gold! Sitting by the beach, fresh breeze, yummy food & drinks, and ice cream bar for dessert! La Pergola restaurant for dinner and a la carte breakfast was delicious and very special. Nightly shows were WOW factor (magic show was so awesome & Michael Jackson were the two we made it to) The beach was nice and sandy, very clean, and the waves were fun to jump in! Super easy (and included) to borrow boogie boards. We made so many friends cruising the waves each day. Lots of chairs and shade to lounge in. People do lay towels down to reserve spots in the morning, but after breakfast, we never were without a spot for our group of 4-6. Cons: Restaurant booking system was terrible. You can only book 50% of your nights, the restaurants aren’t open every night, and you need to line up every few days very early & stand in line (7:20am to 8:45 am, and got only one night). I know it’s tricky at most resorts, but it wasn’t ideal to get up early and line up multiple times and still not get more than 3/10 of our nights in the restaurants. Celiac/food allergies was tricky to navigate. PRO: I did not get sick once. The chef was able to make me a chicken breast/salmon & steamed vegetables at the nightly buffet (needed to get a letter from the concierge, and then show it each night at the buffet. I would wait about 25 minutes for the meal, and it was safe!) But, the buffet was not safe for me at all & nothing was labelled for allergies. At the buffet, there was no rice, potatoes, gf bread, gf pasta, or tortillas or tortilla chips available. This was disappointing, as I would have loved some fresh tacos (as I’ve had in other resorts). So I purchased my own GF tortilla chips in town. I felt overall this resort may not be the best option for dairy/celiac/gluten free/allergies (in comparison to other resorts we have been to). IF the restaurants had been more easily available, this would have been more helpful to navigate as the restaurants DID have good gf options. Upon talking to the concierge partway through the trip for some assistance, they would not give us priority booking for the restaurants or allow us additional days (even though that was the safest option).

Waitress Dalia cocktail lounge Bar Volare
I hope this message makes it to our waitress DALIA, she was part of the positive enjoyment at the bar Volare and made the evenings we sat there so enjoyable!! We all loved her sence of humor quick wit and conversation, She was very professional and noticed she did not stop working never stood still unless at our table engaged in conversation, Love how she gave us some InSite too her own family when I asked so hard working late nights long hours but I wanted to give her a shout out from us in Canada that it did not go unnoticed. Great job Dalia thanks for your genuine kindness, Marshell
