Amazing experience
Marcus, Daniel and Roberto These 3 guys went about and beyond every day. We came to the beach in their section most days because of them. The capriccio food was the best in the resort. Also Micheal Jackson should have sang the free willy song. Overall amazing

Not good at all
I wish I could give this place a good review but unfortunately I was SO disappointed in this resort! Despite how beautiful the resort was, the inner workings of the resort was awful! Two restaurants were shut down (and the lobby) for construction and we were only notified by WestJet about this 1 week prior to departure. Due to the shut down, it was impossible to get reservations at the 1 other restaurant, and the restaurant they utilized to “replace” the Italian and Seafood restaurant was impossible to get into. That basically left the Buffet restaurant which was not great at all! And get this!!! One night the theme was “seafood” -well, I’m not a seafood eater at all and every single item at the buffet was freakin seafood! There was nothing at all for me to eat, I had to talk to the manager about my frustrations as we couldn’t get into the other restaurants so were forced to go to the buffet (AGAIN) and then there was absolutely nothing I could eat. They offered to make me a grilled chicken breast but when it came I couldn’t eat it because it was like eating rubber. I’ve been to Mexico 15 times and all of those times were spent in all exclusives. This “all exclusive” is not all inclusive. The fridge in the room had nothing in it but a coke and a beer-no snacks, no drinks, nothing! The only option was you had to go down to the in incredibly expensive gift shop to get things like Pringles, chocolate bars, or anything that you would normally get in an all inclusive resort included in the room and the fridge. I’ve never experienced that. Also, there’s NO pool side service for food. You have to go to this pathetic little place that has no great options at all, and you are not allowed to leave with the food to go back to the pool, or your room if you just want yo relax in your room. They also have NO ATM which is crazy as we needed extra cash multiple times and had no ability to get it. We wanted to Jet ski on the beach on our last day but couldn’t because we couldn’t get cash anywhere. The whole towel thing is ridiculous! They say that the towel hut opens at 8am YEAH right! They’d get the towels in the hut maybe by 8:45am and this was the same time with the dinner reservations lady-it was suppose to open at 8:00 am and most days I’d waste my time until 8:45-9am before she showed up (and then I’d still not get into restaurants because they were full) Anyways, the ONLY bright part of the resort is Dalia in the lobby bar! She was the most hard working, passionate waitress there. She was so sweet and met all of our needs every night we went into the little bar in the lobby!!! Dalia really made our trip and we adored her!!! I can say with 100% certainty, I will never return to this resort! Not a good experience at all!!!

we go each year and this one because of the construction was the worst with no compensation
we are owners and experience less attention than we would expect to make way for either day time users or cruise ship people. we have to fight with the miserable front desk people to make a dinner reservation each and every day for the same day dinner while sacrificing our time in the morning to save a chair because people throw down towels to reserve their seats and sometimes never use them. the exception to this resort are the incredible serving staff whom had been there for years as well as the bell boys. all are absolutely the only thing worth while about this resort. the beach is nice but not without garbage hiding underneath so as to puncture my foot with a poky stick from the food served there.

The grand kids loved it
Just back from a week with the family at the marival . Was here 15 years ago the place hasn’t changed much but has been well maintained. Food and service was great. Housekeeping didn’t restock the mini bar after 2 days but other than that no issues. All of the alacarte were being renovated so they were using outdoor areas instead but in a month all should be back to normal. The nightly shows were great. The pools good and even though they claimed they were booked full we had no problem finding 7 chairs together every day at 9:00 . The beach is smooth and you can walk out a long way,we even saw a baby turtle.overall I would give it an easy 7.5 out of 10 compared to other places I have stayed.
