From the moment we arrived , we enjoyed friendly service from the front desk to the poolside bar & restaurants to the housekeeping staff. Our experience was especially memorable as we ate dinner barside at Luna Mar with Xaxier as our server and mixologist.

Staying at hotel before/after charters ya by trip
I’m only commenting on the best bell service from Keivon who was so helpful, great customer service, professional, and always checking on the guests to make sure they are taken care of. We stayed 2/8/25, 2/9/25 prior to our charted yacht trip and returned one night on 2/17/25. He remembered us and again provided great service! Please convey to Kevion we appreciate his service.

Do not come here. Book elsewhere. I paid for ocean front balcony room. The Westin gave me ground level room facing a mountain on the side of hotel. I asked to be moved upon checkin. They said they oversold and they did not have anything else all week. Suggested I can go elsewhere. I paid and booked this room months ago. That night 2 men in trucks parked directly behind my room with flashlights. I called downstairs they told me don’t worry about it. I insisted again I want my room changed to what I paid for and they said they can’t do anything. Outside my front door exit door which you are suppose to use your key is ajar 24/7. Called front desk nothing done. The blow dryer in the room blew cold air called to get it switched was told no blow dryer on the property and I have to wait till a guest checks out to get another one. It’s day 1 not a good start. I feel ripped off. Not a good start to a long awaited vacation. Save your money do not come here.

This hotel is average at best and when you read the reviews of other travelers, believe them. There are good, bad, and simply unacceptable things about this property. Starting with the rooms. They are in desperate need of updates and simple things like cleaning the shower would be an improvement. The market that sells some food and sundry items is slow beyond slow and often out of items. The beach is beautiful but no beach service and two of the four days we had to wait for towels "in the laundry". Keep in mind you are charged a $75 daily resort fee for this very thing. The people working at the resort are friendly for the most part so that is a plus. The pool and specifically the adult pool is too small and overcrowded. Finally accepting that this is a 3 star hotel at best, the resort is simply overpriced for what it is. There are many other destinations that offer significantly better value and service than this one. I just stayed at an all-inclusive in riviera maya that was less expensive and beautiful and had outstanding service. Marriott should be embarrassed that this property represents their brand.

Hotel issue at check in that was all gone after an amazing meal experience
The food and beverage team at this hotel is fantastic from the food and bread beverage Director Jayden to the manager of the hotel restaurant overlooking the water, Isheba. She watched over all details of the staff and made our experience a five out of five dining outside at the restaurant. The food was fabulous and the atmosphere second to none. Good job to this whole team. Hotel is bringing in some new management and this will help the time it took to check in. We will be back.
